Why. Would. Anyone. Play. This. Game. Competitively.

It’s quite clear they don’t know what they are doing, and yet people will keep banging walls with their heads against a well-known fact.

Their anticheat is as bad as Valve’s, if not more. If I were to program a game and someone had a rate of 50 headshots in the span of a minute they’d be going into a list. And of course, I’d make it so people grouping up are warned when their premade has been reported for cheating, mentioning that pairing after the player has been flagged will cause a suspension if the player gets banned, along a rank rollback and any information about rank/title/points wiped.

Devs are simply too busy with some other aspects of the game to pay attention to the competitive scene.

Had a game today with multiple endorse 1 xim cheaters. When I called them out they decided to hunt me down, showing that they had wall hacks as I’d go to an opening they couldn’t possibly know I was coming to and spamming the corner when I peeked. This wasn’t a normal “spam the choke” situation. Perfectly targeted with wall hacks to prove a point.

Cheating is big now a days. The good news the worse it gets, which it is, the more pressure there is for these companies and game makers to come up with a way to combat them in a more permanent version. The evolution of the anticheat is well on its way now, and these lame kids will have to get their kicks elsewhere.

Just be patient cause it’s coming soon.

Stay tuned. The day of reckoning will come. The record will be straight. :smirk:

Only reason I ever touch competitive is to complete the requirements to get an end of season reward of competitive coins to get gold gun skins. In other words, placements only. That’s why I have 1600 hours in arcade, 1300 in unranked and only 300 in competitive even though I’ve had the game since launch. Custom games are only 100 hours behind competitive at 203 XD.

Yes. Higher ranks are literally aimbotfest. People aimboting in groups.

and blizzard not doing anything, moderators deleting topics about exposing aimboters in this game. :poop: :face_vomiting:

I agree this game has nothing, just based on player’s report. And if no one report or realises they go unnoticed.

This game has “Defense Matrix” , which explains the cheaters given how nerfed they left DM :skull:

give us 15m DM back :moyai:

we’ve seen clips of a guy literally emptying an AWP in one shot and doing 5 kills on the same tick with 5 different AWP shots. Valve has nothing except smoke.

yeah it’s not done yet :skull:
but with how fast valve is moving normally just play faceit in the meantime for at least 3-5 years.

yeah that’s a variation of a speedhack. It’s an old cheat from cs 1.6.It was supposed to be “extinct” due to how different source works from goldscr, but eh looks like source 2 is more funky.

Go ahead and try to install something and see for yourself.
… no? Yeah I thought so.

This rage hacking will probably get banned in a few hours. Not all the cheats are instant, the systems also take time to study the cheat and then get them all / send info to banwaves etc.

Regular anti-cheat stuff basically. I guess not everyone knows this.

Banwave will come and then the forum will be flooded with “I got banned for cheating, but I didn’t cheat”

Yes a speedhack variation should be the most easy for a server with ai enabled to spot, don’t you think? Like a shot that needs like over a second to happen. 5 of them happened in an instant and got 5 headshots. AI not instantly picking up on such indubitably suspicious conditions is Garbo.

Yeah… the fact Blizzard can’t even catch a bot like this is pure incompetence. Utterly.

At what ELO are you seeing this so frequently? Console or PC?

When? And what? AI-based anti-cheat? It kills me knowing that in probably 1 out of every 4 or 5 matches there is likely a hacker with their AI-cheats dialed into a setting that isn’t even noticeable. It bugs me knowing there are hackers out there right now not even being detected.

I feel you. So many of them especially lately. The whispers are on Reddit and other forums that the dimmers are being buried soon. That alone will help a lot. The other is the state of all FPS and the issue of cheating is becoming extreme. The more they cheat the more the integrity of these IPs is challenged, and the more that happens the more serious the issue of fixing it will happen. It’s coming for sure.

Even if cheaters accounts are banned, they just make new ones are resume play. Hardware banning offenders is the best way to kick them off them game permanently, or at least make OW2 re-entry a very costly undertaking.
