I’d love a new “map” for Practice Range. I’d love other types of bots with larger targets/health, like tanks. Smaller and faster bots to practise “Tracer-size-targets”. Flying bots etc.
Also, the map layout would be either changeable or another layout.
The current Practice Range only has one good area and that’s the right side where there are tons of bots. I’d even like open areas where targets move in diffrent speeds and around corners.
I love the practice range and use it everyday before queueing into real games, but I’d like more options for it and more layouts.
I would also love a supported “aim” practice, where you stand still and enemies come at you, blink around you etc. You basically just stand there shooting stuff. It would make is a lot easier to practice aim.

isnt deathmatch fine enough to practice aim?

It’s ok, but I like practice range instead of playing against others
I think the pve bots helped me work on my tracer blink and flick to targets a lot. It showed in my real games against players
Great suggestion–I’d love to see more added to the practice range. Maybe even like a timed scoring or something. That would be cool
I know this isn’t really a good solution, but I would recommend actually investing in CS:GO. There are tons of custom scripted maps for aim practice, and online calculators to accurately convert between sensitivity. The console commands let you do things like control recoil/spread that might better simulate a hero like McCree/soldier. It’s not a perfect analog, but if you just want raw aiming practice it works quite well.
But certainly it would be cool if the game simply had better built in training/practice functionality.
I know, but I want this in OW. Since CS is another game. Also all targets in CS are the same size (head at same vertical scale), this is not the case in OW.
i recommendd playing TF2 on mge servers on Endif mode. Great for practicing airshots with Pharah. (Or any projectile hero, but pharah is the closest thing to soldier)
There are maps in CS that are not just bots. Fully scripted with moving targets (literal circular targets) with configurable speeds and movement patterns.
Out of curiosity what’s wrong with custom games?
Now that you can save your own game presets, I have a preset that I use to practice my aim. I set the enemy team as 6 hard Lucio’s who cannot heal or deal damage. It works for me to practice Tracer and Widow – I know a lot of people have very different setting for their own practicing, but you have more options than you think.
IMO - The bot movement patterns are pretty stupid. Half the time they stand still, and the other half they take long predictable/linear paths to a specific location. Also they always follow you in very specific patterns, so trying to distance yourself often doesn’t work so there’s a lot of scenarios you cannot practice.

In Bird Culture, your aim is highly regarded if you hang out on top of the moving platform and pick robots / targets. I’m a suck hanzo main and I can get %80 ult charge in one lap.
