no you being good at genji doesnt mean moira should be nerfed cause you died to her once. “low skill” heroes ALWAYS have less tools than “high skilled” ones. trace and genji have literaly free out of jail cards. while also having massive amounts of damage. moira only has numbers providing healing and dps which isnt even that good. roadhog is high burst but has almost no way to defend himself and his team. these characters you can cry all you want have different playstyles and different strenghs than mr “i want kills cause high skill”, aiming isnt hard.
Maybe the fact that you died to Roadhog is the fact that you should have respected his one ability that is his hook. maybe next time you shouldnt jump moira with her sash on cooldown. Junkrat and sym are literaly ten times harder than any top tier character right now and thats a fact.
Ok so explain this then. I’m silver and I had a QP game on Blizzard World where I was playing Hanzo on defense up top left. The enemy Moira pushed ahead of her tank and used Wraith to get to high ground and fight me. I have to aim and reload my arrows and hope I can kill her while she gets consistent infinite damage due to no reload and doesn’t have to aim and she gets to heal. Also in 5 seconds she’s going Ghostbusters again on me meaning I can’t run away or chase her. Your example of Genji and Tracer as well are horrible comparisons. Yes they have a “get out of jail” card but it’s vastly different. Their cd’s are higher and they can’t heal themselves and both still have to actually aim and reload. That Moira by the way killed me and she was one shot away from dying and went to point. I told my team and by the time I respawned and was running back she straight out got the killing blow on all 4 of my teammates. Don’t sit here trying to tell me that Moira isn’t that good or that she’s just innocently with her team and dps and healing because we all know that isn’t the truth.
Honestly if a moira does this and you or or team doesnt kill her… moira isnt the problem here
Also tbh if this happened you should be questioning the abilities of your team, not anything about the moira
maybe you should know counterplay is more than just killing someone. sticking with your team and telling them to be aware of a flanking moira is also counterplay. theres was literaly a pinging system for that. im a tf2 player and knowing when spies and snipers could apear at any moment is a big part of it. why cant overwatch players realise that as well is beyond me.
bruh…I literally tell you that she is indeed way too strong especially in low ranks and you give you an example that happened to me and you say “communicate”…I did I was in voice and pinged her. Again this is silver at best in QP. For the fact a person can do that with her is insane and means she’s not balanced.
thats a team issue not a moira issue. its a team game. same reason why sombra is hated. if people just turned around once every 10 seconds she couldnt do a thing. thats also called counterplay. its not just me kill enemy. its also being aware of an enemy and playing and planning cordingly.

No. It is strictly how she is created that has created that “good” player. I almost beat her as I said but she has strong abilities on relatively short cd’s which allows her to do those things and get away with it as opposed to Tracer or Genji who can’t self heal and have to use a high cd to do the same thing. That is the point.
Genji is about bursting people down, or rushing in to finish a half health squishy.
If they died to moria, they deserved it.

If this tracer would be half as good as the Moira player she would kill you too, not to mention genji.
When a Moira can dive kill you, it’s your teams fault not getting value from the missing supporter in the enemies team and not “Moira op”.
Moira is op if your team can’t handle her but that counts for genji, tracer, zen, Lucio, reaper, echo, pharah, kiriko, nearly every hero that can dive kill you.
Also they talk about moria being low skill like genjis throwing stars didn’t just get buffed to be the size of sim orbs

The problem is that the value Moira creates isn’t based on anything the Moira player is doing particularly well, it’s based off her design giving her borderline free damage and not having to pass the same skill checks as almost every other character.
That said, Moira isn’t overpowered. She’s just badly designed and needs a rework.
yes but she doesnt do as much as other heroes. that flanking moira could have been a kiriko and deleted someone before disapearing. she does less than the whole roster but its easier to pick up. its that simple. the better players get the more they destroy her

I’m sorry Moira also has a get out of jail free card. On a shorter cd than tracer. And she doesn’t need to fully aim to deal dmg. Not sure what this thread is trying to argue but Moira feels extremely disproportionately more powerful than other supports this season.
