I got banned last season for a season ban, whereas previously i left a game and had 15 minute ban. I got on this season and ALREADY have a 24 hour ban and i just updated the game, have played 0 games. Already banned… what do i do with this

Is it related to your leaving games from last season? Don’t remember how many seasons ago it was but in order to stop repeat offenders from just abusing the leaver penalty by getting a free unban at the end of seasons a ban can carry for some time into the next season depending on how late into last season you were abusing.
Seems to me you were like 1 day into the cut off or something?
The penalty applied to your account sticks too if I’m not mistaken so this season if you keep leaving games regardless of who’s fault it is I think it’s worse than last time since you’ve been season banned before.
IDK - the rules pretty clearly say that GMs have to refuse any reversal of leaver penalties so you kinda SOL. Just stop leaving games though and it shouldn’t be an issue once you get unbanned
EDIT: read your other post where you kinda hint that maybe your friends were exploiting or cheating or something that could be why you were banned - did you ever appeal your ban from last season? You never told us explicitly what your ban was for? Either way idk what else to tell ya I linked you the rules and where to appeal.
I was never given a reason on what my ban was for. I submitted a ticket and was even told that my account WASNT banned when it very clearly is. And i got banned 25 days ago so it was pretty far into season but even then i dont see why it would carry 24 hours into this season.
weird… Well if I give you the benefit of the doubt and you REALLY weren’t breaking any rules then you got my sympathies man but at this point I’d just accept you’re banned for the next day and just pretend this never happened starting tomorrow.
If you seriously didn’t do anything deserving of a ban I would suspect your friends of cheating (did you ask any of them if they got banned, and if they did did they tell you why they think they got banned?) I’d just avoid playing with those friends again.

Wait what??? How long did you have comms disabled? I’ll admit, even I’ve had my account silenced at least 2 times before I eventually just disabled comms altogether. Been that way for a long time now. Do mods just go through a list of offenders and permaban them out of the blue years later or what?
after my 8yr acc got permad for spamming EZ
i got this one, which i just muted comms to avoid that.
and i only play rein/torb/hanzo in comp a lot, so i figure people just mass reported me.
i hadnt played in about 8 months, and just started back up on this acc 1 week ago. 1 week of playing racked up enough reports to get banned.

That isn’t how reporting works. Humans still review someone who gets flagged a lot. If you didn’t break the rules, you don’t get banned. If you constantly disparage or curse at your teammates, you will get penalized.

You don’t have to curse at your teammates. Simply getting reported enough times will get you banned.

I counted 4 known toxic players in just 20 minutes this morning ALONE. The same harassers popping up in games, who CONSTANTLY flame, and ive seen them over MONTHS, doing the same thing over and over, still flaming and blaming, and none of those people seem to be getting actioned. I can name the amm off the top of my head, but I cant post that due to the witchhunting clause or whatever balogna, else i get banned. Yet theyre free to roam while mouthing off.
All of this is documented on private stream.
I play torb for 1 week and get banned.
Its utter bull loney. Im not the only one.

Then you have a PR problem because nobody believes the people who run the game anymore.
It doesn’t matter what you say, the lack of people being informed on why they are penalized creates mistrust.
When the judge is also the jury and executioner, don’t expect the criminal to think everything is without error.
As a Doom main I call bs, ive had multiple false bans over the years since ow1. Not a single one got reviewed by a human. This isnt the wow classic 03 days of real Gms in game
