D.va mains hide behind the fact that her ladder pick rate isn’t through roof but the truth remains she is busted, as seen by OWL pick rate. She is the most boring off tank, so obviously people avoid playing her in ranked unless she is must pick.
So after getting hog destroyed and worst state before, they are after zarya, so there precious off tank can go back to season 3-7 level busted.

As Dva Tank main, I don’t mind Zarya. She’s manageable, not impossible to handle

OWL’s meta is different lol. Dva has a higher skill ceiling with catching gravs with Matrix, and there are players in OWL that can do this fairly consistently, so they negate Zarya’s ult there largely.
Checking actual stats, her winrate isn’t even exceeding Zarya’s with a much lower pickrate… but you say “she is busted” and “the most boring off tank” meanwhile Zarya has no intricacy with aiming or counterplay to her weapon, she can’t fly and it’s very easy to maintain high charge. Most of your post is just wrong.

the only time we see large amounts of d.va play is when the rest of the tanks suck. the rest of the tanks really suck right now, so we’re seeing more d.va play. this doesn’t mean she’s busted, she’s just kinda okay.
This is because ladder cannot abuse just how good D.Va is until you reach a specific point in the ladder that the majority of people will never even reach anyway. Even then, D.Va on ladder in general is nothing compared to in pro play.
I really don’t think any of the off-tanks are boring, to be fair.
If dva had actually been a good pick and not decimated by zarya and hog, she could’ve been used as viable counterpick against hog and his hooks so he could you know, remain viable instead of being nerfed the instant he gets buffed.
I guess it’s dva players fault her dm distance got nerfed so hard. 
You know, I was in a nerf Dva topic the other day. The OP tried to explain why Dva should be nerfed by comparing her directly to Zarya’s pick and win rates. The whole train of thought was more or less, “Zarya’s pick/win rate is higher than Dva, but Dva is almost the same. That makes Dva OP, pls nerf.”
The double standards the community has and the mental gymnastics they’ll pull Is nothing short of amazing.
