We now have 49 maps worth of data to examine Brigitte’s impact on the game at the highest level, and she’s a mediocre pick at 24%.
Meanwhile, Mercy is still at must-pick status with a pick rate of 92.5%. Mercy is also the most picked healer in competitive according to Overbuff.
It’s long past time to admit the rework to Mercy was not a success because she’s going to need another nerf as it becomes more and more apparent that she’s still the best healer in the game. As for Brigitte, the PTR nerfs need to be reconsidered if she’s already a niche pick at the pro level.

Revive and lock on beams are really strong.

The forums: We shouldn’t balance around <1% of the playerbase. It’s unrepresentative of everyone
Also the forums: LOL Did you see what happened in the OWL?

Braces for more Mercy nerfs

Brigitte is not weak.
The current meta is play what counters Brigitte cause nothing else works

Do you think that it might have anything to do with them just being comfortable with their current heroes and meta? They’ve been playing it for quite a while now.

Mercy needs another rework. Her standard kit feels more powerful than her ultimate ability, her ‘on fire’ is messed up and resurrect is going to remain too strong to keep as a standard unearned ability on a fixed cooldown.

It’s because the other two main healers are not useful at that level of play, Moira’s a darn good healer but she has no utility. Ana has solid utility with sleep and anti heal, but she’s inconsistent with having to use bio for herself most of the time and no escape ability. It’s not Mercy. It’s the other healers.

Mercy doesn’t need a nerf… she is balanced, REMEMBER?!
Devs said it… people mocked Mercy mains for just speaking…
Mercy doesn’t need any new changes. Not anymore. Deal with it.

Different people have different opinions.
Mercy is the top healer for 100% of the playerbase in terms of pickrate.
The Forums are a bunch of people with differing opinions.
Good joke tho, props

They’re pros, they will pick the option that gives them the most advantages to win, if Brigitte is that strong especially on the patch where she has no nerfs she WILL be played, and when she is played the enemy team brings out her counters and forces Brigitte to switch

People mock them because they cry that her ult is weak when she has stats like this.
“She needs a better ult but don’t take anything else away she is weak”
Yes. I know. I was mocking the fact that it changes so rapidly.
Direct healing beams and Resurrect make her a nearly must pick, especially in this meta where range is the only counter to an objectively broken hero.

We only have one week on data on a map pool that’s extremely vertical, and half the teams are underperforming. The data is valid but not enough.
They might be pros but they always fall back on the same heroes.
I really don’t want Mercy to get nerfed😂
Moira, Lucio, and Brigitte are aoe healers. Their heals don’t work well with teams not clustered together and this game has heroes that punishes people for grouping too tightly. Not to mention some of the most powerful heroes like Widow, Tracer, etc are not going to be that close to their team.
Ana, Zenyatta, and Mercy are the healers you use if your team wants completely freedom to move around the battlefield to wherever they need to be.
Ana can’t heal through barriers, has inferior utility, and the worst support ult in the game.
So why would you bring Ana?
