My first match of the day and this is what I am met with, three AFK/scripted bots/downranking players.

Well, what to say, its sad because these individuals who do this simply wont acumulate enough report to take notice from blizzard.
Blizzard doesn’t care. As far as they are concerned they have better things to worry about. Like things that make them money.

Comp’s a joke right now. I just play quickplay. Leavers get back filled and the match making is often as good, or better, than comp anyway.
OW2 is the focus. I’m hoping that throwing gets punished seriously in that, or I won’t be buying it.

You realize Overwatch 2 is a glorified expansion pack? You are paying for a PVE campaign alongs side getting Overwatch 1. Purchases of any future Overwatch title will be buying Overwatch 2 and playing with legacy OW1 players. Its going to have the same Penalty and Anti-cheat systems on both games.

Blizzard has already confirmed Overwatch 2 will contain all of the same assets as Overwatch 1. Both are a package deal. The only difference is PVE.
Your Answer Troll - EVERYTHING IS SHARED BETWEEN OW1 & OW2, since both OW1 players will be able to play with OW2 players, its the SAME SYSTEMS!

how does it not? how can 2 versions of the same game have different systems? Are you saying Aimbotters playing on Overwatch 1 get a free pass but get penalized separately than players in Overwatch 2 even though they are playing on the same exact servers? What do you mean there is no confirmation? Are you even born? I have no confirmation you are not a troll bot.
Maybe Blizz will wake up after OW2 development finished, but before release, and actually sort out the anti thrower systems after 4 years…
They’re starting to get more responsive to hero balance issues, so one can only hope that they’re starting to treat throwing more seriously as well.
Especially as you’ve got a major OW channel highlighting disgusting throwing and slating Blizz for their lack of action.
