There needs to be more collaborations with wider audiences, such as the K-Pop community. It would be a good concept as Overwatch is widely known in the Korean gaming-industry. Additionally, Aespa have a concept with A.I’s (AE) and would perhaps be a brilliant idea to integrate them in the game, whether they are skins or even playable characters. Aespa could also help promote this game through a performance, and have previously collaborated with another game (Eternal-Return) and went #1 in KaoKao gaming charts, their impact is undeniable and extraordinary.
It would be revolutionary as it has never been done. They could also implement emotes where they perform Aespa’s choreographies.

that’s why fortnite is still thriving and this game is dead… because they know how to collaborate and be successful. But continue to play this dead game, clearly you love the 30 minute queue
Obviously you like Fortnite more, so I’m not sure why you came here…

i prefer it more but that doesn’t mean i like it. I’ve played overwatch a lot more than fortnite and am over level 500, compared to my 50 hours on Fortnite… I suggest you keep quiet with that laptop of yours
I’ll just suggest you refrain from insults, unless you like showing your age

I’d love to show my age, compare it with over old men who have an unconditional attraction to this dead game and feel in denial
You’re the one who wants one game to be more like another to enjoy it… so who’s really in denial about what?

Its not at all about collaborations, content is king. Overwatch does not provide meaningful content for years at this point and the playerbase have had enough waiting for it to change so they left.
Fortnite on the other hand, even tho i hate Epic games with passion and dont have love for Fortnite whatsoever, i do admit, that they do have meaningful content updates. I dont follow what exactly, but i know that the game is basicly unrecognizeable compared to the last time i saw it. Sure collaborations are contributing, but the main reason its still relevant is the constant updates to the gameplay itself. Not to mention those collabs in Fortnite are very much hit and miss and not free from controversy.
The amount of skins we get in Overwatch for an event is a laughing stock compared to Fortnite.
They change the maps, add new mechanics. In Overwatch, nothing changed in the past 2 years, not even new heroes.
We dont need people running around in marvel and star wars skins, listening to concerts or the “I have a Dream” speech in the spawn point and divert the little developer time we still have, for a bunch of potential temporary player.

Unless you are over 4000 or under 1000 queue times are a ratio issue and are not related to population and even then it’s only really at specific times. So basically they could have 10x the playerbase and your queue times would not change.
alternatively they could just make MEKA have an K-pop group side gig
This idea is too much for a billion dollar company
They would have to sacrifice their houses and family in order for it to happen, and even suggesting it in their meetings people are going to lose their minds left and right.
Please understand that any meaningful content is harmful for the mental health of this company, how did you forgot about this? So inconsiderate of you, think of all the staff/manager/ceo that will work and conceptualize this idea, do you want to give them heart attack or something?

They should also do collabs with the likes of 7 Deadly Sins for their mobile game, and perhaps have a mobile game along the same lines where hero teams battle each other with abilities, completely different from the current game but the same heroes and similar abilities. It all generates buzz for a game. 7 Deadly Sins has done crossovers with lots of different Anime series in their game as well as other popular series like Stranger Things.
