Idk man I play like a monster when I got the hot hands
Well, if it works for you. But even with vasodilation, the blood flow in your hands wonāt be much higher. Your heart and nerves have more control over than than anything else.
I guess every tiny advantage will help, though. Iāve never heard of warming your hands up, and Iāve been gaming a long time, lol.
Most of the pro DPS players and League of legends players use hand warmers between games
those are like a dollar each though so hot water is better
You bet your buttons, buster.
Iām a Grandmaster main tank player too, but it would be awesome if you would watch one of my VODs on my youtube channel and give me some constructive criticism. Even if I am already GM, I think there is always a thing or two you can improve upon.
Iām averaging gold rank, but Iām taking quantum mechanics and inorganic chemistry this semester, so not a lot of time to game.
I was a combat medic in Iraq in 2004, so my anatomy advice might be a bit limited. I know vasodilation is pretty limited above normal circumstances in the limbs. I knew more about gross anatomy limitations than fine motor skills.
Djee thx for the condescending advice bro, no-one in gold is aware of thisā¦we are all imbeciles right. Hereās your cookie for being placed 3800.Have fun being mocked in twitch games.
Dec 16
Hello there misters and ladies!
Following my old topic, I have decide to go balls deep and actually try competetive.
ā¦And I found out that, out of the 20 players I had in the 4 games, only 3!.. actually 3 talked in the micro!
Only 5 or 6 players actually use the in game commands like āgroup up with meā or āultimate statusā.
And worst than all, I have seen more in game rage in this 4 games than my entire last month playing QP.
At the moment, I am in a 1-3 scoreboard stats.
Anyone wants to give me comments/tips/help for me to actually improve myself (because, lets be honest, I still do plenty of mistakes, but lack of communication isnt one) but more importantly, how to make my team actually work as a teamā¦?
Really apreciate any and all comments on this
This was a post I did back at 16 December.
Nothing changed, I would dare say things are worse now. I have gave up completely in competetive gameplay on this game. Pin 2.2xx SR, people simple dont want to try, dont want to communicate, dont want to play for the team, dont want to act like normal people and stop raging.
Its sadā¦ but it was the truth I found out.
āDont be Toxic
just dont. Your throwing.ā
Woosh.
So as a support main, how do I rank form Bronze/Silver with players that wonāt hang around for healing or clump together for tank protection? What can I focus on to really help my team?
This! Some advice please, other than ātry asking nicelyā.
Itās the same issue as the Reinās above have expressed, from a different perspective. Seeing you team fan out left, right and charging ahead and ignoring your shield/heals. One has tried, āhey, I can only heal if youāre nearā and āplease donāt just rush in D-Vaā and ātoo many heals/down, please re-group, weāve plenty of timeāā¦ but the comms only work on 1 or 2 other players.
I find it hard to choose which teammate(s) to follow, as I have to at least try to heal/support. Itās pushed me onto Zen, secondary support, for more diverse, at a distance stuff. Less heals, but more consistent.
ALSO, when does feeding kick in please? One should avoid damaging the nme unless thereās a good chance to get a kill, you want to displace or distract? Iām unclear as to the balance lays between damaging while retreating vs. not feeding.
Whats the link?
There are a few good ways to do this.
First, duo Qāing with a phara main and playing mainly mercy can really wreck people in silver and bronze, as long as your phara is not landing anywhere near there team and landing a good number of shots. Also make sure to heal your other teammates as well though, unless flying to them to heal them is going to get you killed.
Secondly, It can be really hard to carry games consistently as support. If your solo and your teams uncooperative, I recommend Moira. Shes pretty easy and can do alot at low ranks to carry games. At bronze and silver, Moira should usually win 1v1s with most players so catching people out of position should give your team a decent advantage.
Support maining can get you far, any game were the enemy team has no support, your team will be at a huge advantage.
Weather or not to poke because your worried about feeding ult charge to there healers is not something to worry about until at least like diamond, doing it correctly gets you a slight ult advantage but if your messing it up you might lose a chance to get a pick witch is generally more valuable or you might not pressure them enough and they might be able to get a free pick on you witch is even worse.
Overall you never really want to miss an opportunity for free damage, but there are a couple of cases were its usually better to stop DPS then it is to feed enemy healers. One is if your ult is charged, and your hitting a tank that has healers on them and theres no way there going to actually die. In this case your gaining nothing for your damage and giving healers tons of free ult charge.
In my post, when I talk about feeding ults I mainly mean staggering into the enemy team after your team is dead and giving there DPS like 200 points of free ult charge at least.
Another thing to know is to not grab medkits if your guaranteed to die anyway, like if your a D.Va deep in there back-line and there all on you, grabbing a mega is just going to give them ult charge.
Hope some of that answers your question.

Here is one. I canāt post links so you have to remove the line skip after ht.
Edit: it is one of my better games as I donāt really post bad games of mine to my YouTube, so youāll have to criticize the tiniest of mistakes. I have one other video that maybe I make more identifiable mistakes in. Itās here:

Edit 2: in the first link it is a season 8 game and I play Winston more. In the bottom link I play more Reinhardt but itās from season 7. Whichever is easier for you to coach.
Im watching the hollywood game right now, the first thing i notice thats a bit of a mistake is that at about 1:20 you use your D.Va rockets on a pretty healthy orisa while you and your team discuss that your about to go up for the mcree. I personally would have held the rockets for that to guarantee the kill, but it dident really matter because your team followed up really well.
At 2:30 you feed
at 3:20 you use rockets just after the enemys disengage behind cover, and just as the rockets are ending you dive the Zen.
around 3:30 you use your whole defense matrix, and instead of letting it charge at all you drain back down a couple of times as soon as you can trying to save phara and you end up with it empty for a while. Usually I try to keep a little bit for stopping ults, instead of draining it all the way and letting it stay drained. (same as letting rein sheild actually shatter, but not as bad)
5:21 rockets into the wind
Rockets is really strong, its good to use it as much as possible but make sure not to completely waste them, thats the main thing im seeing but its really much better then people who hold rockets all game.
As winston it dosent look like your doing the punch animation cancel on the jumps, but its hard to tell (because if your doing it perfectly theres no animation), but basicly any time your landing a jump, you should always punch anyone in range before you hit the ground this dose an extra instant burst of 30 damage and literally costs you nothing, the jump landing completely cancels the animation and you get the damage fro free. A few times were kills on zen would have gone out a bit faster if you were doing that.
Thank you so much for watching my video and giving me advice. I will try to work on my restraint with D.Vaās Matrix and time my rockets better.
As for the Winston thing, I do typically punch when I land. I think I did do it most of the time in this video, but maybe not every time. Itās just as you said, that you donāt always see the animation. Even if I wasnāt doing it every time in this video, the video is two months old I think and it is something I have incorporated into my game now. For like 5 seasons I was a Reinhardt one-trick, so learning Winston has been a bit of a learning process. D.Va is in the same boat, but obviously I have more work to do on her as you can see.
Thanks again, dude! Seriously youāre awesome!
No problem!
