Saw nothing but terrible positioning and the reviewer even pointing it all out.
Plat in a nutshell.
Now wait a minute. This VOd is like 2 years old… It’s woefully out of date. I have a vod of mercy play at 2200 that I had reviewed like 18 months ago. It’s SO BAD and painful to watch. A bronzer would laugh at it.
What do both videos have in common they are both ancient and the ladder has evolved exponentially since then.
I am not saying plat positioning is ideal. But Ithink we both are going to have to agree to disagree as to what “terrible positioning” is
You arent goign to get to plat anymore with what I consider terrible positioning as terrible positioning gets harshly punished in gold. I hear it all the time please dive x target they are way out of position in the dregs of low gold.
I learned how to line of sight and use cover from my world of warcraft arena pvp days. using line of sight is a basic concept from first person shooters going way the hell back.
But truth is in sub 2000 games using basic cover is still a missing aspect of a lot of people. A lot of pharah’s dont understand how to use geometry or cover to protect themselves from hit scanners. This is why so many pharah’s are stuck sub 2000 cause they still think this is season 5 where no one looks up
Pharah honestly was a free ride to mid gold but again that was forever ago.
Now under no circumstances is my positioning perfect. But hands down my biggest problem is mechanics. But again I could have great aim but if I constantly dead I am of no use. Too many people in low elo as in bronze and silver worry WAY too much about mechanics.
We can agree to disagree on what terrible positioning is. Obviously gold positioning is even worse than plat. Feel free to look up any recent vod review and I guarantee half the review is just going to be about how bad the person’s positioning is though.

No no no, he tells that you suck, 100%. You are garbage. But he tells you how to improve along with it. Which helped me. He himself admits his mechanics are trash
Yeah. It takes about a net 25 game loss to move down an entire bracket.
A net loss like that is easily achievable if you play on the final week of a season. In fact, I wonder if the shorter seasons are contributing to the noise.
