Address Ana --- [FEEDBACK]

oh I agree, its just that Ana is this high-skill ceiling, most of support category isn’t. The difference between a high-skill flanker, or high-skill Widow to an average dps role ya know? I also feel the damage fixes wouldn’t do much at all to mess with her nor the passives.

I try to be light with the suggestions over some big idea or rework like headshots.

In big steps I feel of course. You buff a role too much could be a power-creep, but the suggestions I made are minor / more for consistency. I don’t think its really fair a skilled Tracer can 1 clip Ana, a skilled Widow can two or one shot Tracer, yet Ana has to land 6 shots ( or more when heal / armor gets involved) to kill and is forced to fight that 1v1. Scenarios like this that involve in her dying or enemies escaping when they shouldn’t. Those scenarios are important.

Zenyatta totally does not need a buff…but he doesn’t need a nerf either.

Zenyatta is in an amazing place right now. He’ll go back to being a low tier support if the meta shifts towards dive again though.

I for one want to see skill buffs like the damage / armor fix. Even the passive suggestions are small / take skill / are for minor uses.

I don’t really want to see any big change in Ana, especially ones that take away from skill or core-identity.

For sure, I agree with that.

Every healers has sustainability and is much better than Ana. Her “amazing healing potential that only those who master her can reveal” is laughable compared to Mercy and Moira’s left mouse click.

Lucio’s aura was slightly overnerfed. He overall is a worse Zenyatta now, since his aura cannot spread Speed Boost effectively, he cannot deal damage effectively and his ult is hot garbage that takes millenniums to charge. At least he can still stall and heal multiple people.

So, just a thought, but what if Ana’s damage was not affected by armor? Yes, she shoots darts, but the damage technically comes from a poisoning effect.

I’m sorry, but what? Zenyatta a low tier support in dive?

He has no credibility. Stop trying to argue with this guy.

For those that think Ana’s fine where she is, remember that it’s not just about balance, but perceived worth. If you’re great with Ana, but every mic’d match you have to argue for her spot on the squad (over Mercy & Friends), something has to change in a noticeable enough way to alter public perception.

As a Zen fan my first solution is always gonna be damage. Because I don’t have to heal you if everyone’s dead.

The long cd hook (or giant robo hawk, or whatever) also sounds cool, as time wasted positioning leaves less organized teammates vulnerable (also, every other scoped sniper has mobility options).

It’s just a frustration for many support players and the developers that even the community does not understand what they want from supports. In my opinion there should be many different skill floors and skill ceilings from all the supports. I believe the reason we got “easy” supports like Moira and Brigette was to push players to fill the support role. I agree that tweaking some supports would be a good idea. I’m totally down for Ana to be able to headshot enemy targets.

Yes… Zenyatta was one of the worst supports during seasons 7-9. I don’t understand how this is even arguable. Moira, Mercy and Lucio were top tier.

Lore-wise she actually shoots different bullet designs. She manually feeds them too, so she can have a mag of healing bullets, then feed different bullets. Also they are clearly bullets as you see it shatter and wipe off Widowmakers helmet in the comic, and kills people with them which darts wouldn’t really do.

I think it should just take as a single-shot. I don’t think it should ignore armor. Also darts would just bounce off armor if they were darts.

anas highly played and popular?? what game are you playing?
she has some of the lowest winrates in the game

You actually think that? I’m surprised. I’m impressed.

I’ve said this many times over the years. Although I love the idea of headshots its overall a bad idea does not fit Ana herself specifically.

If Ana only had a rifle and all the use ONLY came from the rifle with no utility, sure go for it, but it doesn’t. She has utility.

A dilemma starts with rewarding skill. Too little might as well play other roles as your poorly rewarded for skill. Too high and you need to nerf her utility which can make her useless or people angry who like her utility.

Yes… I do. Anyone else here think that Zenyatta was completely viable during seasons 7-9? What can Zenyatta do to the dive tanks and flankers? Not too much. Ana was in just as bad of a position.

Do not touch her ammo clip…im thriving with 14 bullets, more healing with a slight more chance of forgiveness on a missed shot

For those who care about paper stats / win-rates / pickrates I want to say this.

I don’t really like em. Theres a lot that stats just dont say. Like I for one play like garbage if im mad or depressed and think its a very inaccurate representation of me when I actually try and am skillful. On top of this consider when it becomes a team problem and not the players fault or things stats don’t really consider. What if the player switches to a role when they know its a loss, so their winrate sucks.

The only real time I feel stats suggest bad balance is when a class skyrockets or drops into useless pick.

I don’t think people play their best 100% of the time for an accurate description.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

I feel she already has that forgiveness crutch you speak of. Her nade has burst heals to heal up faster / higher, and it lets friendly healers also use the nade.

the no mobility / self heal I talk about it in a skill-sense if you go up to my buffs tab I give two passives addressing this talk.

also what of a faster reload instead of big ammo / spam shots.
