Addled, Unplayable Mess of Cheating

There comes a point in the day where OW2 is overrun with cheaters. It’s very noticeable, when people with some vestige of a life are off to bed or out and about, that’s when the cheating trolls are concentrated.

Blizzard needs to face facts. You guys might not sell pay to play items but the cheat vendors certainly do. Those guys are running rings around you. Makes a billion dollar enterprise look like toytown.

Go to Marvel Rivals then, where you can complain about their cheaters instead.

This is the same company that lets Sombra exist in a Multiplayer game lmfao

yea marvel rivals is just as bad. i remember yesterday this winter soldier bucky just hard locking everything plus me as psylocke in stealth. player had like 50 kills but yea… pure aimbot

same company that fills lobbies with every kind of aim-assisted crossplay stack.
the hitregs/netcode are all over the place. many killcams sus.

cheaters yes, but often a kind of anti-meritocracy rigging.

You posted this at 5:38 pm though ._.

What time is that, exactly?

what a surprise
u complaining about people trying to make the game legitimate.

Then it should be pretty noticeable in all the replay codes that you provided.

Oh, wait…

they never ban ur account on the forums for “name and shame” cheaters with replay codes.

The heat death of the universe will happen before that ever happens lol.

Some people just need to accept that they got skill gapped instead of blaming “cheaters”

without verifiable code/algs there is no such thing.
that’s a necessary accept.

Yo im feelin SO addled RN

Truly, the cheating is way out of control and I believe the devs have lost the battle and don’t want to admit it. The game is a total waste of time at night, and its creeping into that state during the day too. What a shame

There is a certain amount of cheating going on, but it isn’t something I encounter every game. Overall it seems like a really flagrant cheater every ten games or so, which isn’t great, but it has been much worse in the past - and of course your personal experience may be different.

I have run into the odd cheater in MR, but not as regularly. And one major difference is the response is much faster, and includes actual information.

Overwatch sends a notice that just says you filed a report we acted on, not going to tell you the account involved, or what we did - just that we did something to someone at some point in time in response to a report you filed. With MR it lists the account the report was filed against and the action taken.

I’m only talking about blatant cheating, because anything subtle I am just not going to notice or waste my time trying to find. They have to be doing something obvious enough to make me feel it is worth the time to go back and check the replay.

I frequently have questions about this. Is it not possible for Blizzard to sue the sellers? Is it not possible to detect the cheats via Windows? Maybe they’re just selling the cheats themselves or it’s a big part of the players.

The only thing rigged is your name.

And if you genuinely believe that the game is broken and filled with cheaters and as unplayable as you and OP keep posting it is, why are you still wasting so much time playing the game you clearly hate and can’t play because it’s “unplayable”? Easily could have found a game that doesn’t make you so upset and sad

lmfao dude what are you even talking about. You don’t need code or alg to verify someone is better than someone else. Especially when the cases you and op keep crying wolf over and showed replay codes basically amounted to you standing still and getting point blank headshot by hanzo standing right next to you that you are missing every shot on.

Blizzard rigged the game to make them stand still and miss shots of course

Oooohhhh then that explains their name too. Must have been blizzs doing so they could specifically target them in matches

They have to find and lock them down as an entity first and out of country companies are hard to stop since they’re not necessarily beholden to US law. Cheat sellers often move their payment methods and hosts often and have layers between them and blizzard.

Some cheats are entirely external to windows software or conventional detection. There is always an arms race between the makers and the game devs for detection and function.

I’ve heard this theory, that blizz themselves are in on the cheating but it’s a bit of a stretched one. Cheating kills online games quickly and while blizzard isn’t a super trustworthy company if cheating was actually a part of their business model they’d be at risk for class action lawsuits from players. It’s possible that an employee is in on it but I highly doubt it’s known to the company itself.
