Debating returning to World of Warcraft. Yes, I know, it’s a pvp game as well, but it, at least, also has pve and actual story to it.
I didn’t imagine consoles lacks proper games so much if playing a 20 years old subscription game is your only option.
seriously I dont know how anyone plays subscription service games in 2024 lmao. WoW cant be THAT good
i tried all mmorpgs.
always returned to wow.
I am trying really hard with ff XIV right now.
but haven’t logged in in a while ngl.
the others aren’t even worth mentioning imho.
“console library”
“World of Warcraft”
???
Yeah, fine. All I was thinking of when I wrote this was how much fun I had w/ WoW. I didn’t seriously intend to put down excessive funds just to relive some enjoyable memories.
I’m sorry if my choice of phrasing was bugging you, I was just putting a thought into words.
its all good lol, like what you like, its just not my type of thing
May I ask how far along in the story / MSQ you are? I definitely found parts of it a slog, though it does pick up. The gameplay is similar enough that I enjoy raiding. I picked WoW back up for some shenanigans though for me the actual story in 14 is wayyy better. Combat in WoW is more fast paced though which I like.
Idk, I only ever had a free account, and I was a teenager.
Well, I was asking Destrolock specifically since they elaborated on their own experience and I was curious to learn more. Though I know that’s probably confusing since the forums gave you a notification since I replied to your thread, sorry xD
I installed WoW, bought war when it was first announced, i log in on some low lvls but as soon as i login in i stare at the screen and feel like a giant elephant just sat on me… and all i wanna do is stare at the screen, zero energy to move.
You need to address the elephant in the room.
I tried giving it peanuts… it just stared at me like what the heck…
I have entered the first expansion iirc.
it took a while to get started with it as I never liked the Global cooldowm or the fact I am not the biggest Story guy.
That said its a difference when you launch WoW even after a new expansion and you just know you already seen it all befor you even enter the game.
(on top of knowing entire Azeroth like the back of my hand) theres just barely anything i can explore. While FF does have things I haven’t seen yet or experience which is an Motivation boost to keep going.
Probably helps that my bother is playing FF and that I quit my WoW mythic Guild freeing me from responsibilities.
below the content or players just aren’t worth it. as someone who enjoys WoW pve, it sucks when the group is just to bad.
But as soon as the group gets semi decent the game feels like a second job sadly.
(tried to summarize everything a bit)
Yeah, ok. Guess I’ll stick to ps5 games.
