It’s such a slow grind to get enough OW coins for anything in OW2.
Either increase the amount you get for completing challenges tenfold, or give us OW coins as part of the battlepass.
You should at least be able to get 1 legendary skin by -at most- 2 weeks of playing the game. Paying 19 dollars for 6 years old skin is absolutely insane.
I’ve stayed away from recent EA and Activison games, so I’ve never really had to deal with battlepasses before. What an absolute disgusting business practice. Instead of making it a blatant “You are not playing a game, you’re paying a game.” experience, give us something we care about?
I seriously hope it gets passed a law that makes it illegal to hide prices behind “in-game currencies”, so you would have to market skins at 19 dollars.
I would be so happy if I could buy the OW2 PvE pack and get premium battlepasses for all PvP seasons. I hate subscriptions on any service (MMO’s being an exception), be it a software or a game. And if you are, at least make a game worth paying for. OW has never in it’s lifespan since it was launched, been making content worth subscribing.
Absolutely disgusting, and I am so exasperated at the business practices of “Blizzard” Activision.

First off, before I add extra, I’d just like to say I agree here.
As far as Battle passes go ( I’ve played about 4 other games that had battle passes, so not too many but that will be my point of reference), it’s extremely generous and is really well priced for what you get.
As it stands right now as well, you can free-grind and pay for the premium BP roughly of every second season. Which isn’t great, but you’d be able to instantly buy the premium pass everytime they release a new hero (and get the hero right away then). Assuming you play frequently.
But with how little amount of coins you do get, I’m shocked seeing you don’t get coins at all through the BP’s free track (which is what I’m more familiar with in a battle pass). I thought for sure you could earn some bits of coins here and there, and then get more/ better amounts in the BP- but without any additional coins a player will have no way whatsoever to freely earn anything in the shop/ skins/ items if they’re trying to save for a premium BP. And in general just won’t have coins for free spending.
I’m totally fine with paying players getting more stuff- it’s now a free game, so that’s to be expected. But the current amount a player can earn freely is simply too low.
Right! Also we need more free rewards in Battle Pass. Look on BP in NARAKA BLADEPOINT, Genshin Impact, Tower Of Fantasy, Super Mecha Champions. In these games, you can get rewards for each level of the free Battle Pass.

Coins would be nice, but I think the battle pass is actually a decent value, I don’t have any real complaints with it. I think they should do more coin bundles in the store, like the S1 starter bundle which is $5 for 500 coins and an epic. I was going to buy every battle pass anyway, so essentially those bundles are free items.
I really would’ve added coins for every battlepass level for free.
I haven’t played any of the games you speak of, but I assume they have a lot more items you can get (wether it be consumables, or other sorts of cosmetics) than is in overwatch (even though they are attempting to bloat OW2 with useless items like “Trophys” and “weapon charms” as well as the current bloat of voice-lines no one uses as well as low-effort sprays that no one uses).
I just don’t think there are enough “new” content to add stuff like sprays and voice-lines to every new level of the BP.
Of course, if they add coins to the BP, they will also need to adjust the prize of the BP as it is currently on 1000 coins (half of a legendary skin btw)
The BP probably should give the same number of coins as it costs. Ie if it’s 10 dollars, you get 1000 coins with it. If it’s 20 dollars, you get 2000 coins etc. It’s kind of how PoE does their supporter packs.
