Add support for logging into BattleNet via QR Code.
I play on geforcenow and to get the benefits of GamePass in Overwatch, i MUST (thanks Blizzard…) log in via BattleNet. So I have to manually type in my email and password every time I play. It’s not difficult, but it’s a tedious process, you know…
One suggestion would be to make BattleNet support logging in via QR Code like Steam does. It’s practical and fast. Scan it and log in to the launcher.
an extra 7 seconds of not playing the game! oh my! the world is so cruel to you!
I think I can type my email + pw faster rather than take my phone + unlock it + open scanner. I don’t think use a QR code will make the process faster lol

If you dont care then maybe dont post. I think OP has a perfectly valid suggestion about something that can be improved.
I have to do the whole QR code faff with a medical website and I absolutely hate it.
“Save time by scanning this QR code!” and it manages to take several minutes more than a regular login which is for some reason, completely disabled. WHY!!!

I know not everyone has an iPhone, but for that it takes one tap and slide on locked phone to enter camera
My password manager cries itself to sleep at night over forced QR code signins.
Do you not “remember me”?
Blizzard only asks for your password when your IP changes.
I feel like the only reason I remember my password is because I have to log in to use forums lol
GEFORCE NOW, PLEASE READ THE POST. You cannot check “Remember me” in BNet in geforcenow. Every time you open overwatch there it ask for email and pass.
I don’t use that, I wouldn’t know.
But every other website seems to have that checkbox ._.

TBH if they went back to User name and password it would be much better.

I can tell you whats bad is, when something like John The Rippper can bust a password because everyone went to using EMAIL ADDRESSES and eliminating usernames, became a thing. it opened up the can of worms to computer exploitation.
Heck, im glad i left security auditing. I dont claim to be a pro, but ffs. Every email address out there gets thrown around like its candy on the world wide web, and someone is bound to have a blizzard account, something as simple as spearfishing is made possible.
At least the OLD way of logging in here, was much safer. Because the username was unique to the game and not an email address that a person throws around all day on the internet. 
They won’t add it because Indian scammers will start sending you QR codes to scan and idiots will do it and give their accounts away, then cry to support, and support is too busy making money copy-pasting templates for ban appeals and cringe emojis.
There you go; the explanation to why they won’t add it.
Even like that ahah I think I’m faster typing few characters in keyboard than taking my phone from the pocket.
