Please let us toggle the white speed effect lines that appear on the sides of the screen every time you are on speed.
I don’t need to see these, they actually impact my gameplay visually because of how often I swap between heal and speed, you get these constant flashes of white lines around the edge of your screen.
It’s very distracting, please give us an option to turn that effect off. Thanks.

Honestly ive never had that problem. I dont even know what ur talkin bout from memory i never even notice. If youre actually training your eyes on your reticle to aim and shoot and do the positioning and songs on auto pilot you wouldnt even notice the stuff on edge of screen
If you train your eyes to not tunnel vision on the centre of the screen and maintain good peripheral vision, you’d notice the effects they’ve added in ow2 to Lucio while you are moving on speed aura.
You keep a good fixed concentration on your crosshair to actually hit your targets, aka flankers and the tanks. You are still seeing the big picture battlefield you just know how to focus better and what to focus on. You should toggle between speed and heals often and u can hear when ur mates take dmg u dont gotta take ur eyes away from your crosshair to look around
Honestly I think we should have options to turn off as much UI fluff/visual effects as possible.
I’m fine with it, even in the beta, but I can see why it would be distracting to some people.

I toggle between speed and heals all the time hence the constant flashes of the speed effect around the edge of the screen being a general annoyance.
I think more control over the visibility and intensity of visual effects would be amazing

I’m happy for you, however your experience isn’t universal.
It wouldn’t matter if I stared down my crosshair to the point of burning the image into my retinas, it wouldn’t distract me from all the completely useless sparkly/swirly guff that fills my screen.
Dear god OW2 needs sliders and options for effects as standard. It’s just completely gimped accessibility for this game.
Sometimes in game things, lights flashes n all, make me not concentrate on my crosshair, and i have to tell myself to tune back in

I have no idea how you do that: being able to refocus like that sounds like a superpower to me.
The sensory processing disorder I have puts all input (sound, visuals, smells… the lot) on the same ‘level’ so to speak. So when people tell me they can focus on just one thing (even by force) that just sounds like magic.
Sliders/options seem like something that would benefit both of us, because even if it’s just ‘irritating’ for some and not ‘migrane inducing’, it would still be a good thing to have.
tbh I think speed lines in general are gimmicky and ugly
Should definitely be something that can be toggled, like halo infinite’s sprint speedlines
