Add a Game Mode Filter in Quick Play

Same like the one you see in Call of Duty. Where you can pick what game mode you want to play.

Control, Push, Hybrid, and Escort. Allow players to filter the game modes in quick play.

Matchmaking is already a huge problem, not the time to had another layer. So big no for me

Due to the exponentially dwindling playerbase and the long queue-times, this isn’t really a realistic option, although a good idea.
Map voting too, would be nice.

lets be honest, no one stays after the game says victory/defeat, so there is no point

Remind me, did they remove the consecutive match bonus in QP for OW2?
In ranked ofc, you dont need to sit through the end screen since… there is no auto-queue, but.

i think its still there, but remember
the overwatch community is the community that leaves games and also demands that they not be thrown into games with backfill

Most people just DITCH the match regardless. So it would be better to opt-out in order to save money and resources. Plus it gives blizzard a really good amount of feedback.

Push stinks. Im sorry. Don’t want to play it.

Dwindling playerbase? Source? Q times longer? Not in my experience and so many others. Don’t know why you say that

It probably has to do with rank, region etc.
My queue times in both QP and Ranked has increased SUBSTANTIALLY, like 80%~100%.
I’m still shuffling around near the same ranks since the launch of OW2.
Season1: around 1 min. Season 2: around 2-3 min Season 3: Around 3-5 min.

Even better would be nice option to filter out individual maps on a per player basis. I know I would certainly love to never see Anarctic Peninsula again, same with Paris and HLC whenever those maps will eventually return.

This’d only work if the playerbase was less toxic and remained in match through the entire thing.

Also, it’d give plenty of data as to what the community likes so they would rework or make better installments to the ones with less a fanbase (push)

But for now, we’d have to wait for it in the Arcade sadly

The matchmaking being a problem only makes competitive a problem. Quick play is quick play, it’s just for easy quick random fun.

The game filter I’m talking about is only for quick play, so matchmaking being a problem won’t matter as much, since the trade off for having a game filter outweighs the matchmaking problem.
