They develop those games at the rod of activision

How can Activision kill Blizzard when Blizzard is Activision?

At this point their stocks keep going down. Maybe, at some point Activision makes Blizzard file chapter 11 bankruptcy or something.

Blizzard going like Sears.

The old Blizzard CEO retired any way you look at it. It was going to change.

There are vary few, CEOs that don’t go after the easy money

Ever since Morhaime left it’s stock has been dropping

While this is true, they are indeed the same entity, Blizzard used to have their own CEO/President until recently as the CEO/President got forced down to being an advisor (which he quit and takes leave in April, which means Blizzard is down another founder). They used to have full autonomy of who/what/when/where/how. Not anymore because of Activision playing corporate games. The guy who became the new president now is yikes, “You think you know what you want, but you don’t” is his famous quote and was very involved in the downfall of Star Wars Galaxies back in the day.

The brutal truth is that would constitute suicide… change my mind.

Killing Blizzard by doing what?

Blizzard and Activision, while being co-owned, have had different mission statements and still do, however, Blizzard no longer follows their own mission statements but have adopted the mission statement of Activision. So, I think it’s fairly accurate to say that Activision absorbed Blizzard and Blizzard exist in name only these days.

Ok, I’ll take a shot. The biggest complaint I have with Blizzard is that there is nothing new coming from them. Overwatch gets new skins from time to time, but no actual content. WoW is limping along, but I was once a passionate WoW guy and even I can’t force myself to play it anymore.

We got revamped SC and WC3 revamp is in the works. I like that, but it’s not new. There is just… nothing … coming out of Blizzard.

Nowhere in any of that can I see Activision’s fingerprints. Maybe the Diablo phone nonsense was their idea… but I doubt it. What I see is squarely on Blizzard’s shoulders.

“You think you know what you want, but you don’t”

is not an argument really, in fact i understand what he ment, because i played WOW since it launched and i remember very well and see the difference in what WOW was and what it is today
