OW Character Skill Ceiling Tier Classification :-
S Tier
Tracer - Personally I think she is still OP and needs to be nerfed. One direct counter to her destoryed the game.
Genji - Take this with a grain of Salt, but genji is still one of the hardest character to master.

S Tier characters should always be 'VIABLE" in META for a healthy Competitive scene.

A+ Tier
Ana - Has some of the most powerful kits in game but requires very high mechanical skill to use it properly.
DVA - OP on high tiers but still requires insane skills.
Lucio - Ya, suprising but you need have insanely high mechanical skill and good decision making skills to play it on higher elos.

Ana should always be the highest rewarded support character in the game unless another support character with similar or higher skill ceiling is intorduced.

A Tier
Soldier76 - Its easy to play but very hard to master it as it needs very high mechanical skill to play on higher elos.
Widow - Personally think it has no place in a game like OW.
McCree - Requires insane aim, excluding the OP FTH.
Hanzo - Regarded as troll pick but deadly on right hands.
Zen - No need to explain.
Roadhog - Makes me Sad remembering the good ol’ hog days.
Zarya - No need to explain (i hope).

Its always a good and a fun thing when these characters are in META.

B Tier
Sombra - Placed here here cuz her EMP is OP on PRO scene. and, her infinite invisibility definitely lowered her skill ceiling.

C Tier
Pharah - Doesn’t require much of time investment to get good on it or to be good enought to have a huge impact with it. pharmercy is still a thing somehow.
Ashe - Would have kept her higher but as for now, her dynamite is a little broken.
Doomfist - Unknown to many here, doom actually does not have a high skill ceiling. No t500 doom mains is gonna tell u otherwise either.
Mei - Devil.

These character are in a good place and should only be meta in comp scene for certain map picks.

D Tier
Junkrat - Used to be a junkrat main in s1 and s2. And, theres an unwritten rule for junkrat mains, to always try ur best to kill enemies without seeing them.
Reaper - Really makes u question if blizzard even plays their game with its recent buff, what were they thinking facepalm
Bastion - NERF BASTION. Never forget there was a time when bastion could survive a whole nano blade 6s slash on its turret form. never forget.

Similar to above, these characters should never be a MUST PICK META characters.

E Tier
Mercy - has “the most powerful ability in the game”. its better i say nothing more so i dont make some people angry.

Please NEVER again a META in OWL.

F Tier
Moira - The counter arguement that this character requires skill like “good position placement” is not a arguement. thats like saying u need to breathe to stay alive. ya doesnt make sense.
Brigitte - Nice one blizzard.
Sym - smh.
Torb - smh.

These characters should NEVER EVER be in the meta. Personally, the ranked games would be a lot better if these characters are moved to QP only characters.

Honestly this isnt that far off. I think you could throw hammy into S-tier, lower Dva down to B. and bump sym and torb up to E. But aside from that, I pretty much agree

I’m not salty at all. I know Mercy doesn’t require skill and suffers because of that. I’m genuinely surprised she’s not in the F tier.
