Accounts using BOTS in FFA for farming

Hello, I want to point out a recurrent issue in Overwatch 2 's “Free For All” game mode aka FFA. We often have to play against accounts using automated bots for farming. This plagues a significant amount of games but unfortunately reporting these accounts doesn’t seems to have any impact for several years now… First, most of these bots were playing Torbjörn but nowadays new heros are used . Further more, quite recently I noticed that these bots were using Battle Tags in chinese characters.
Cheers  !

Yea, this was a prevalent problem even during OW1, when the servers especially connects to Asia side

Sucks man, my fav mode ruined by the bots.

Wait, what is there to farm in FFA?

It’s just my personal guess but I think it’s mostly farming XP to reach level 25 so you can sell/buy brand new accounts with competitive mode enabled right away. I don’t really know what else someone could really benefit from doing it. To me it looks like same thinking process behind people boosting or deranking.

This is a problem in all modes. Not just FFA.
When introducing a time based metric for progress (like battlepass) these types of scripts will become very frequent in any game.

This is no longer a thing. To unlock the Ranked Mode a new account must win, not play, 50 Quickplay matches. Not FFA, MH or Arcade… Quickplay.

Ok, you are right. I forgot about this change, too much brainwashed by the old system haha.
But then, what’s the point of all of these scrited bots ?

Man, I had someone dual boxing on my team. He was playing Orisa and Moira, when one moved, the other was stationary in spawn. I have no idea why someone would dual box, ofc we lost. He kept running on the enemy team alone with whichever hero was active and get obliterated in seconds, then he would get on to the other and do the same.

Here’s the replay code: JFQSKW
Orisa and Moira on red team.

Yeah it’s a really annoying thing you got there… Sorry. But in your case though, looks like there is at least 1 real human player controlling the 2 accounts alternatively. Where in my case (in FFA) it requires no human at all… just some script to run.
