Account Silenced For 6 Days Question

1st of all) I’ve never sworn in chat or singled anyone out for abuse. The extent of my saltiness is saying ‘trash team’ and immediately leaving AFTER the game’s been completed. Believe me or not, up2you.

My question is… how do I hide this ‘you’ve been suspended’ msg in the bottom left? I got it, my salt went too far. New to PC but the ‘you’ve left too many matches recently’ (which is why I never leave a game) msg goes away on XB/PS. Why not PC?

I mean I’ve been playing Blizz games since 2004 and I’ve never been punished for saying ‘trash.’ A little forewarning would be nice.

They do give you a warning across your screen and it literally says WARNING.

If you don’t play for 6 days, you won’t see it. Other than that, it’s there. I fail to see how calling your team trash is not abusive, though, so it seems appropriate.

I believe you only get a warning before a suspension, not before a silence.

That’s why I virtually never communicate with people I don’t know while playing. It seems to me that there’s an extremely low bar to get banned for saying something vaguely naughty. Just add that to the list of things wrong with the game.

Just dont say stuff like that. We dont need to hear (examples)

“trash team”
“gg ez”
“mommy says people my age shouldn’t suck their thumb,”
“oops mistell gotta tuck me in mommy”

Thats just raunchy behavior that we don’t need here. It may sound funny at the time. But many people play this game and mature people know that the match already had a fairly pre- determined outcome. The community has enough issues the way it is.

Currently everyone in the background is cheering for Destiny Leaving Activision and there are TINY rumors that Blizzard might just get their company back… Dunno. Lets hope so. Keep the toxicity out of the chat so our favorite game company doesn’t have to rely on another company’s support. :stuck_out_tongue:

at this point i would be contempt with a system like in rocket league, with a few predetermined lines and that’s it. heh
