It isn’t real, just wanted to make fun of the hypocrisy of the guy by copying his reply in a smiliar post and replying to him here because he is asking for the same thing the other guy he replied to with this reply was asking for.

If you continue playing at some point you get it, but it’s all very random, waiting for an official message from blizzard…
(Still bugged for some people)

Daily thread bump up. Still waiting for an official response.

In short, it works terribly, but yes, at some point you will end up in the top 500 list if you play a certain number of games beyond the required amount. In my case, it happened quite quickly (for 1 “cycle” to 7 wins)

It’s been well over a month since these bugs have started to affect the top 500 leaderboards and still no official acknowledgement of the issue. Still waiting for an official response.

While there was no new information, Blizzard support has finally given us a response regarding the missing top 500 rewards from season 36. No acknowledgement of the bugs with the current top 500 leaderboard however. Here is a copy of the text and a link to my original post.

Ticket response:
" I’m Specialist Game Master Stiltzdajumz, I’ve been looking over your issue about a top 500 reward not being given!

I know our queues are a bit longer at the moment, so thanks for your patience while we were getting through to you.

So unfortunately we as support are not able to provide these rewards manually, instead this would need to be reported via the following process for investigation:

I know this isn’t the same as getting a specific reply from a developer about an issue that you personally are having, it does allow us to get a good idea if something isn’t working by seeing it publicly among other issues on a greater scale.

Thanks so much for your time, and I hope you have a good day! \o/ "

And for those who are inconsistently appearing on the top 500 leaderboards this season, one solution might be the one Frosty describes here:

" Found the solution to this! The issue arises when you play too many games through the Europe or Asia regions when you launch the game. I know a lot of people launched the game through Asia early on to avoid queues, but if you played ranked through that region launcher the games did not count toward top 500.

For me, the fix was to play more ranked games in the Americas than I had played in Asia and it placed me on the leaderboards properly. "

same here. POi#11181 Tank 72 games GM1 Dps 55 games GM5 Support 25 games Master1 . but not showing on top500 leaderboard. all played on asia sever ATM .100% security checkup

I sent a ticket to Blizzard support and I received two confirmations that the missing season 36 top 500 rewards is in fact a bug and that the devs are working on it. I’ll link my post with those ticket responses here if you want to read them. Please make sure to keep interacting with these posts to keep them bumped up as well.

Hello Blizzard, it’s us again. Can you resolve our issues? Thanks guys.

Every competitive mode is riddled with bugs. Role queue, open queue, capture the flag, and now mystery heroes. The fun never ends. What does seem to be ending though is this game’s player base if the developers continue to allow these bugs remain unaddressed and unresolved…

Maybe this lil’ bump will help. Maybe not.

History says likely not. But that’s no reason to stop trying either. Bumping up this thread again.
