Account Merge Still Not Working/Stuck in a loop

I started merging my account on the day Overwatch 2 was released. Yet, my account STILL has yet to merge and I’m not sure why at this point. I am trying to merge my console account to PC and have been constantly waiting. As of recently, I keep getting told, in game, that my account merge was complete, and in the chat, it will say, “Your accounts have been successfully merged!” However, nothing was actually transferred. No currency, no skins, nothing. No matter how long I kept the game open for and how many games I played, nothing was actually merged. (Yes, I have checked multiple times to make sure it was the right account being merged)

I would restart the game to see if that would make any difference. When I logged back in, I would be back in a queue. This has happened multiple times now. About 4 times in the last 2 days. What’s really frustrating is being put back into these massive account migration queues of 360,000, 570,000, and just now, 710,000 players.

I really don’t know if I’m missing something or if it’s still just bugged. I seem to be the only one out of all my friends that has this issue, and I don’t see any threads that have a similar issue. The servers were already down twice for account migration fixes and yet I am still having plenty of issues. Any update on why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.

Edit (Oct 9th): The queue has now been constantly going down and resetting. I have been told that my account has been merged successfully or it was ready for migration and that I must restart my game about 4 or 5 times today and never actually merged. The queue keeps resetting to around 60,000 players afterwards. I would assume that this queue is filled with all the players experiencing this issue.

I am having the EXACT same problem. It’s a little relieving to know it’s not just me, meaning it might just be a server problem. What platform do you primarily play on? I play on Xbox which seems to be where most of the bugs are.

At the moment I play on PC mainly. I haven’t had too many other bugs happening but this account merge.

I play on PlayStation and I’m having exactly the same problem. I got the message that is has been completed like 5 times already. And playing or restarting the game doesn’t change anything, just put you in ANOTHER queue. This is frustrating

Same here on xbox….my friend was experiencing this, he logged in last night and has his stuff but i still dont

Several updates later and I’m still having the same problem. Funny thing is my Gf’s account requested merge after me and her account merged just fine and all the skins and progress is there. Meanwhile I’m still getting reset to the back of the line in the que and my account has nothing. We are both on PS5.

This is some top tier BS.

Yeah, a similar thing happened to me with my friend. I told him he can merge his account and it finished in less than 24 hours for him. And here we are, 9 days later, still stuck in an endless loop. I’m on PC and I have yet to actually find another person on PC with the same issue. Then again, I doubt many players are having this issue which is why it’s taking so long to be acknowledged by the devs.

I am having the same issue. I created an incident with Blizzard support and they just directed me to a link about making sure my console is linked to my battlenet account. I clearly stated I link my console and completed the battlenet account setup before the game released. Players experincing this issue need to be given something for the troubles and the fact they should be making this tier 1 support level important.

The exact thing happened to me. It states that it was successfully merged but it only shows cosmetics/stats/credits from my pc account but not from my Xbox account.

Im having this problem to im trying to merge from my switch over to my pc account but it keeps putting me in the back of the que over and over

I’m still having the problem that it says merge complete and to log out but after I login again I just see cross progression is here screen over and over

Yeah this is ridiculous. I wanted to switch battle nets because I no longer had login access to my old one, and now my years old account with hundreds of $ spent over those years is in purgatory. Not to mention the 1 year wait to switch console accounts, even if I did try to undo what I did now and had the login info to my old battle net I would have to wait an entire year to fix it. I guess I have to quit playing this game forever? Edit: Funnily enough, I do have the login info to my old battle net, but it was hacked or something and is linked to both an SMS and email I don’t have to get a code to login! What are passwords even for then?
