Hello Guys, me again. I also had the question: If I link my blizzard account through my Xbox, does it change my xbox displayed name to my battle tag? I.E. My xbox name is (Placeholder) and that is whats displayed in overwatch, but when I link my account my displayed name in overwatch becomes Bananas42. My name would still remain my xbox name, right? Thank you for helping this noob haha
I believe when you account link, your Blizzard BattleTag overrides the Xbox GamerTag. I believe it works this way because it allows Blizzard to track reporting easier.
