So we’ve seen their main ability a tad bit ago which is digging underground which is a really cool/new mechanic, but I feel like this opens a few questions such as
- Can they dig on high ground or just surface floor
- Can they stall on overtime with digging
- Could they somehow bypass spawn restrictions using digging
- Can supports heal/nano them underground
I feel like Venture is cool, but they might have a lot of bugs on release and/or have weird interactions with heroes. Feel free to comment on possible wacky interactions.

Oooh this is a good point. As a support player I didn’t even think of that. 
If I were to hazard a guess, I’d say it might be similar to Mei’s ice block, in that they become untargetable by both teams whilst underground.

I wonder if this applies to health-packs as well, making supps able to heal them underground it might be op but if they couldn’t it might be underpowered or used as a escapetool.

i have a super power called logic and using it i can tell the answer to your questions is no , ofc not
i dont think logic is relevant in a game where genji can deflect a black hole but not a rock, or hamsters from space fighting cowboys, anyways these are just questions and we wont know until season 9

That would be very broken if they can unless is ability on a cooldown

One more thing im asking for a opinion on, if my memory serves correct there was a resource meter on digging underground. Can kiriko speed that up with her kitsune rush? Tysm for your opinion though. (personally i think yes but that could be a bit broken depending on if it can be used to stall or its similar to sombras invis)
It will probably do considering you are most likely not targetable while underground anyway so it is not like you are using to to dodge anything.
If I’m honest it seems like a reskinned wraith form to me, except you can’t jump.

i meant that from a balance point of view , its logical these wont be things in the actual game because they would be unfair and/or op . thats what i mean , dont underestimate my superpower

Oh, sorry that I misread your comment since I thought you were being condescending. New heroes are usually op (with the exception of wifeleaver) and Venture feels very wacky, hopefully they aren’t as gamebreaking as their canadian predeseccor though.

I think it’d be funny:
Venture: digs into enemy spawn
Enemy: goes about their day in lala land
Venture: kills everyone, digs back out
If they dig into spawn, they wouldn’t be able to get back out normally since it’s not theirs, so by this logic I’d say no bueno.
But it’d still be funny.
As for the healing point, I think it’d act like a fade or wraith, untargettable for the duration by everyone.

From what I saw in the preview I had the impression that it was very similar to Reaper’s wraith form. The only major question I have is if they’re targetable for things like nano or healing during it.

They can dig into walls and scale up them, but they can’t jump into the ceiling and dig, as far as the footage showed.
Seeing as how Mei, Moira, and Sombra can’t do this, there is no question this will not happen.
No, they’re not going to be able to do this.
Currently, anyone except Reaper, that goes invincible cannot be healed or aided in anyway. So I don’t think this will happen with Venture, either. They do get a shield when they pop out of digging mode.
This also applies to just about everyone who goes immune, including Moira. Reaper is the only exception.
