If I lose the 5 qualifying games, can I remain in the range I deserve even if I haven’t won any?
Initial placement is partialy win/loss based and partialy performance based so no. You would definitely be higher if you win placement games.
Btw like 10 games after placement is affected by huge SR bonus, if you play good and win most of them you can gain a lot of sr.
