Glad to see lootboxes to FINALLY return to Overwatch. after what, 3 years? I have some ideas for the return of lootboxes.

loot should include tokens and coins.
There is a noticeable stingy-ness with the why you earn the yellow tokens and the white coins. We used to earn them by just playing the game. Now, we dont even get 1000 tokens from the battle pass premium which is bad enough when skins cost 1900 tokens. Currency rewards from the boxes would help

loot should include battle pass (skins, emotes, etc.).
All of those skin, emotes, voicelines that us unfortunate players have missed out on in the previous seasons are just rotting away in the hero gallery. Why not give players a second chance?

the 3 weekly boxes should be daily instead.
One Week. 27 games. Wins dont even grant double progress. Sounds like a long time doesnt it? 3 boxes a day is a much more efficient idea.
Doing this will make lootboxes more exciting and will allow players to come back to play and earn more!

I would say none of the points you have said here will ever be used by Blizzard.

They will never include coins/tokens, that will mean less money coming into Blizzards bank if they gave away coins/tokens then players would not need to buy the extra needed.

They will never put Battle Pass items into loot boxes, for the same reason as 1, if they did that players would not buy the BP.

If they were to implement 1+2 and give away 3 boxes a day then the same applies to 1+2, they will not make any money from giving away items in a paid for BP.
I like your thinking though I hope they do some of these but in reality we are talking about Blizzard here.

Likely will not happen. I figure it’s probably because they cannot put coins into boxes due to it being considered “illegal gambling” in some countries.
Instead they could simply just make it so players get more coins from the battle pass.
I disagree that they should be dropped through a box. BP skins are something players earn through playing the game, it should remain that way.
Instead we should be able to purchase past BP’s that are on a seasonal rotation in the mythic/standard shop.
Don’t necessarily have a problem with this, but three a week personally feels fine to me and it’s probably limited to that due to other factors. I would like to see however, more rewards for career and hero progression similar to HotS.
Get rid of them.
Make it a straight up shop.
If they release something you want, buy it.
Clean, fair, no gambling. Simple.
