Just curious… so now we have the “event” going on, that you can earn 10 (2x5) lootboxes per week plus the 3 lootboxes per week in general.
Does that mean, when season 16 starts we “only” get 3 lootboxes per week, which means about 27 per season? Plus the 2-3 legendary boxes from the battlepass.
It feels really good to be rewarded for playing again. I hope future weekly events include lootboxes aswell.
How do you guys feel? Is it enough/fair, or do you want more?
Well it would be nice of course to have more lootboxes, but I’m honestly really happy with however many we get. I think it’s great that they brought them back in some fashion. Even if the extra 10 per week goes away, as someone who rarely ever buys the battlepass (so I get the one legendary from the free track each season) and then earning the 27 weekly boxes I would get another guaranteed legendary each season, I think that’s pretty awesome. It’s better than nothing and if they add lootboxes to certain event rewards or things from time to time that’s great too. I love free stuff 
Loot boxes will be the new gameplay incentive, no worries. They’ll sprinkle them in every event going forward. So, yeah, maybe this season has more then most others, but maybe only by a handful or so.
3/week looks to be the case on average after this season. But they can always throw them into twitch drops and other events to salt the field whenever things are looking slow.
They’ll probably find a way to give us some extra boxes every season. How often and how many? Who knows.
Going back to 3 per week is going to feel bad. It would be cool if we could get the good old free loot box just for leveling up.
That’s what I’m assuming. It’s going to rough without the weekly loot box event.
