Why can’t you convert regular comp points into legacy ones? I mean, I see no reason why not.

Personally, I don’t really like most the jade but I think gold looks quite nice and you can purchase gold with legacy or regular but only regular for jade…

I see literally no reason why players can’t choose to convert their regular comp points into legacy ones to purchase golden weapons rather than having to wait until February to allow my legacy points to even be useful.

I think you now can buy gold guns with the new comp points, but you cant mix them. So if you have 1300 old and 1700 new ones, you dont get the weapon. You need 3000 new ones and then can choose.

Dont ask why this is the case. In general, the comp points are a complete joke and the green weapons look hideous. Not to mention the pre S9 comp system was better for grinding weapons… they have made everything worse and still did not fixed it.

I am aware of this but it still doesn’t fix the issue. It makes legacy basically pointless unless you had at least 3000 of them before jade weapons were added.

I don’t see a reason why you can’t transfer comp points or combine them.

At least it gives you time to think about whether you want a gold one or whatever the current variant is.

iirc the 2024 tokens will be converted to Legacy ones at the end of the year (and Jade will then be purchaseable with Legacy), so the Legacy coins you have now aren’t just dead.

i dont play comp in relaity as its to difficult but the green weapons they are plain awful though having a gold or a jade weapon can be to much a showoff by people

I agree, this is kind of “dumb” in my opinion, because what if you only have 1300 legacy points, there is literally no way of spending it, making it virtually useless.

They need to merge it again. It’s ridiculous, exclusivity is hardly an argument anymore since jade is 4 months old by this point, and I rarely see them in use. Love having 1700 useless comp points.

because blizzard is incapable of making good decisions that will favourly impact their playerbase
