Aaron keller interview

Flats had an interview with Aaron Keller and chat could not even bring up the 6v6 conversation without being censored. Literally the most important conversation to be had and it’s being swept under the rug with smiles and superfluous banter. Embarrassing.

Nothing wrong with that.

Same with PvE. You know, one reason that the sequel was needed according to the devs. Not even mentioned. It was probably allowed questions only before the interview started. And flats was talking more than Aaron honestly.

When you don’t want to talk about a format so you ban it from conversation. Manufacturing good will, that’s what this interview was agreed to for. Completely ignore issues, mention small considerations in the conversation and ignore glaring flaws like the format.

Where’s the rework for LW. Where’s the acknowledgement of 6v6. Where’s the acknowledgement of half a dozen things in the game that need fixing/reimplementation. Where’s LFG, where’s a rating system to rate matches. etc. etc. etc. etc.

…Aaron Keller censored a discussion about a large concern in the community, large enough that Flats had to make a disclaimer. And you think that’s not concerning?

Sounds like it’s not coming back.

I think there is. You don’t think it’s strange that literally the most important, divisive topic is being brushed aside?

Sounds like Mr Keller is deliberately avoiding the question because it would solve or dramatically help literally all the problems mentioned in the interview, and if they revert that, they lose all justification for it being OW2.

Yeah absolutely. Flats was probably told what questions not to go into. Well, I think pve has been canned according to sources, and thank God. Those first couple were atrociously bad.

I laugh at 6v6 advocates (advocates is a generous term) since I embrace reality but I do find the censoring here to be funny

So do we. 5v5 has brought so many problems to the game. I want the game thrive, you want it to barely survive.

The reality of the situation is that 5v5 is a frankly terrible format for OW.

Absolutely man. It was all ‘smiles and butterflies’, and ‘let’s not talk about the bad’; the
usual Blizzard puppeteered stuff.

No the reality is we’re not going back because tank population isn’t big enough. That’s reality. It’s not a matter of balance. It’s not a matter of fun. It’s not a matter of which mode is better. It simply comes down to we don’t have a lot of tank player for us to go back to 6v6. We just don’t.

Let’s hope it crashes and burns, till they know what’s good for them.

I respect that standpoint and have no issue with people voicing them here or anywhere. I guess I just don’t care either way

Asking Blizzard for the return of 6v6 is akin to asking EA to lower MTX prices. Everyone knows the answer, but some continue to insist for the impossible.

bro I think exactly the same when I think of 5v5 advocates. But as they say, it could be subjective.

wtf are you talking about flats even SAID he had chat turned off.
people were asking for 6v6 in chat but flats never commented about it until AFTER aaron left when he turned chat back on because he said aaron SPECIFICALLY asked him not to mention it before the interview since they didn’t have an answer yet.
Stop making s**t up.

See this is why they don’t want to talk about. Y’all are dense beyond reason. There are reasons we don’t return. You hear it. And your response is “then burn down until you know what’s correct idiots” and you wonder why it’s not being discussed. Even if they said no. You’d still argue why that’s not okay.

It was a severe step down and it blows my mind more people, especially the content creators aren’t switched onto it.

Blizzard likes to keep their cards close to their chest and they think about what they want to do years ahead. It’s telling that they want to keep hush about it.
