I’d just like some minor mercy and bap buffs, moira to not be dumpstered, ana nanoboost and anti nerfs and then some zen buffs and then supports could be perf.
Inb4 mercy damageboost nerf because ashe and echo.
“I don’t like what you’re saying so it’s spam that I’m going to flag”.
Looks like the devs liked what the people were saying. Looks like it wasn’t spam at all since a change is actually coming. I guess those people actually got what the Mercy revert people wanted all this time…
No joke they better not do my girl Ana wrong, remove some of the nanoboost heal, maybe small nerf to antinade. I don’t think they’ll do anything too crazy for Bap since he got that already but I’d be open to some crazy Zen buffs.
He didn’t flat out say they’re addressing her skill but he spoke about character skill and then said some Moira changes will be coming to the PTR. Take that as you will.
Every hero takes skill but Ana has a higher maximum output & skill ceiling than probably any other healer. Until another high skill support comes out she should probably always be one of the best picks at high ranks
I agree with you, Ana is my main support. However her taking skill doesn’t justify the other supports being undertuned.
It’s like if someone says Mercy should only heal 10HPS since she doesn’t have to aim. Ana taking skill doesn’t remove the other supports being rewarded for their output. And right now Bap, Zen and Mercy are under-rewarded even if they don’t take as much “skill” as Ana.
I see it now. And I get your point overall as we’ve seen Moth Mercy, release Brig, etc. I’m not trying to justify easier mechanics being better than good play because we’ve definitely seen it in the past.
I’m saying even relative to the skill it takes to play them these characters are underpowered.
Reducing the area they need their crosshairs to be in to hit/heal a target would be a good start.
Also, toning down Moira’s damage (like by 5dps? less?) while upping the % it gives to the heal bar would go a long way to making her viable sustain wise (competing with Ana sustain).
She… already heals the most of any main healer though. Her whole gimmick is the fact that she does sustained DPS in combination with her high AoE healihg.
Uh, dont they always listen to the forums? I remember threads about how reinhardt shouldnt be pushed around cuz hes wearing rocket powered armor and then like a month later he gets a passive.
It was the AOE healing that really made this a problem and Brig’s armor.Mercy healing 60HPS on a single target was generally not a problem outside of negating Winston’s damage. I also don’t think they’ll be significantly buffing Bap or Moira’s heals.
The OG healers were fine, it was really Moira’s large heals and Brig’s armor that wrecked sustained and Moira already had her healing nerfed.
My argument is for Moira to have a better way to sustain her heal bar. So Moira’s won’t be saying “I’m out of healing” so much. This would allow them to be viable in longer fights.
It is ok for there to be heroes in the game that are effective without requiring a lot of aiming ability. It makes the game accessible for people who aren’t good at traditional fps games.
That being said, I do feel Moira is moderately overturned. I don’t play her because she feels incredibly boring compared to Ana. I think the duration of both her orbs needs to be decreased slightly and her ult charge rate should be reduced by 10/15%. She’d be an ok spot then.
