A special request

Good morning,

It is with immense pain and a bit like a buoy in the sea that I send you this message. My best friend and playmate died this Monday July 8, 2024 after ending his days following severe depression which lasted several years.

I know what kept him going these last few months, although very difficult for him, was playing Overwatch with us. He was passionate about it and it was the only thing that would cheer him up and take away his suicidal thoughts for a few hours. I would also like to thank all the blizzard staff for this… Also, here is my request, is it possible to “archive” his account at the highest possible rank and not touch it anymore? I know that his goal in playing it was to reach the highest rank possible and I know that he unfortunately never managed to reach Master on OW2 during his lifetime. I know my request may be strange but it would be a way to pay him a last tribute for us. I don’t know his entire battletag, but I know that his account is linked to the Xbox and that his Microsoft gamertag is “zFraude”. His favorite map was King’s Row and he had infinite love for the character of Reinhardt…

I sincerely hope that my bottle by the sea will find a buyer, thank you again…

Milla

Sorry to hear about your friend, almost wish I could have been their to tell them to get away from this game for a while, and get the help they need.

But blizzard can’t even fix workshop bugs, they aren’t going to put in something for a complete stranger.

he was under psychiatric care, and surrounded by his friends and family, Overwatch was his only source of fun and the only time he didn’t think about anything. I know my request is unlikely to work but I had to try for him.
