Placed Bronze 5 like almost everyone else did with a new account. In-game I spoke to people who are actually diamond like myself were also put there, and some games feel like a total stomp. We agreed on that. Very few matches were close or competant. Many one sided matches one way or the other. Except I am a support main, and as a Diamond player on an older account, I was put in mid platinum on that account. This new account is having a very slow climb. Excruciating as a Support Healer main. I like that role the most. I am held back by pools of actual bad players. There seems to be no balance to this. I did very well in placements. I have gone from Bronze 5 to bronze 2, but it should NOT be taking THIS MANY GAMES to do such a lowly thing. This is too time consuming and I have a good life. I shouldve been out of bronze upon my first set of 7 wins. But no. Who wants to guess how many it took to reach bronze 2? It took 6 pushes. Thats RIDICULOUS. 7 times 6 is 42 wins. Not counting all the time wasted on losses out of my control with teammates quitting and playing like gutter garbage. Should be able to go to Silver 5 soon but I want my diamond back. I dont want to have to play 837,294 matches to do it. I am over performing often and its VERY frustrating. I let my brother have my other account so he does not have a HORRIBLE experience in bronze. Also need to LESSEN THE PENALTY from matches where people quit on us.
Best part of ranking from Bronze 5 to Bronze 2. Same exact players. There is no difference other than you have a polished turd badge with a tiny 2 under it.
Throwing everyone in a bucket and just randomly pulling out players no matter what rank they are, they need to make sure that you only win so much or lose so much.
I have gotten games with plat players while I am low silver.
What makes it, even more, sus is that they removed people’s ranks in matches. This tells me that they are just putting everyone together no matter what rank you are just to get faster Q times.
I will surpass bronze, no doubt. However the time and amount of games required to do so, especially as my favorite Role, is WAY beyond ridiculous and actually INSANE. Psychotic.
