Wall climb resets double jump unlimited times

Genji’s kit matters because of the freedom that comes with double jump. Looking at the move on its own is stupid. You look at all of what it enables along with theres of his kit.
A single jump or wall climb is no longer easy to track due to double jump messing up timing of when he lands or not. You have to make multiple adjustments. Dependign upon what Genji faces he can further mess up that prediction due to jump being combined with deflect swift strike and wall climb.
Its a free mobility tool because Kiriko can’t get many places due to wall climb and not being able to cross chasms. Double jump lets Genji freely move between high ground without ever dropping as well as vault over rooftops. The amount of free mobility and mix-ups it grants him is quite good you cna’t get with either Kiriko or Hanzo.
Have you seen shotguns from doomfist, roadhog, torbjorn? We do have projectile shotguns in the game and even those follow the rules of spread and falloff for hitscan or projectile.

Also, if you are looking to nerf Genji’s overall avoidance or mobility, targeting Double jump is absolutely absurd. Its like looking to repair the sails when the boat is sinking due to holes in the hull
Double Jump is, literally, empirically and factually, the less “powerful” thing Genji has my guy. So yes, I agree with you that the dude is over tuned but that’s offtopic. What I said about double jump stays, unrefuted.

Sombra has spread, she has <25m for max fall off. Tracer has <20m range. Doomfist has a shotgun and like 4 shots. Hammond, Winston, Dva all like <15m.
Are difficult damage sources then so is are genji’s. If sombra and trader’s spread work against them, so does genji’’s lol….the alt fire is so punishing for bad spacing and bad mechanics….and how do Winston/dva/Hammond/doom have difficult damage sources. They all have low cd ability that do damage lmao….

So tracking 3 projectiles at once thats the difficulty and the shot gun you need to be with in 3 meters for most heros plus due to hit boxes you have to be over them to be consistent. Sombras spread is way easier to handle then tracking 3 projectiles at once
They just hate genji players because they cant hit them with pharahs rockets. This is a skill issue

I always felt giving some hero’s two or even 3 forms of movement while a lot of the roster has zero was always a mistake. Add to that Genji’s resets on an elimination. It doesn’t even have to be a death blow with his dash, just touch an enemy that some how dies.
Very odd way to make some hero’s hyper mobile and others a slow brick. Mean while Blizzard removes almost all the benefits of slower hero’s while buffing mobile heroes.
Do you mean all the trash they are adding back that yet again hurts immobile tanks more and the game has more mobile heroes than the immobile heroes.
