There’s been a bug/exploit that recently resurfaced. If you spam someone with friend request then cancel it then continue spamming, it’ll get permanently stuck on their screen. The only way to actually get rid of it is to close your game. Trolls have been doing this with offensive names, thus having an offensive name stuck on the streamer’s screen. Blizz, if you can look into this and get it fixed, that’d be great.

Last night that same thing happened to me but I highly doubt that the person spammed/cancelled it (doesn’t make sense to me in that context). I just got it once, accepted and it was stuck on my screen etc.
If you haven’t already you should probably add this to the ‘Bug Reports’ Forum, I have witness some streamers (specifically on Twitch) who’ve been getting harassed and trolled by people doing that exact problem and it really sucks to be honest. I mean, trolling for some harmless fun is OK (obviously) if it doesn’t affect their streaming career like spamming a quote a streamer made or a funny moment that happened on stream that becomes the “meme” of the stream, just for some smiles and giggles, is totally OK, as long as it doesn’t hurt them but, to the point where it could get them suspended or banned from streaming? That’s just so dumb and pointless to just go around, wasting your time making an account doing that.
(They can also turn off Friend Requests if that’s an option, also sorry for the rant
)
Oh, I didn’t know that existed. I’m a console player so… ¯(ツ)/¯
…So am I…
Do you ever feel like a misfit?
Everything inside you is dark and twisted
Oh, but it’s okay to be different
'Cause baby, so am I (So am I, so am I, so am I-I-I-I-I)
