I don’t really care that it’s just his ult. Buffing Doom right now is incredibly stupid, and it’s insulting to the player base. So many heroes need attention, and this is what the devs chose?

They said half the roster damn near is getting changes- it’s hardly just Doomfist getting a buff to his ultimate tada the end of the balance patch.

So many DPS ults are garbage can tier, so why buff Doom?

yeah it’s a really weird change to a strong hero. He needs nerfs, not buffs.

It’s blatant trolling to suggest Doom needs nerfs when he’s soft meta at best, lol. He’s good, but it’s not even his own fault. The meta around him determined that he would be good again. That doesn’t mean he needs nerfs. Because as soon as the meta shifts, he won’t be anywhere near as “good” as he is.
Just look at Hamtaro. He went from F tier trash, to hard meta, to decent without any direct changes.
Are people just here to complain nonstop about anything that’s not hit scan, snipers, or shields?
Sombra is cheap, Torb’s turret needs no aim, Mei is “the devil”, DVA’s matrix is too strong, Ball is too annoying, Doom can’t be killed, Junkrat is just spam, Pharah can’t be killed and flies forever, Mauga is too strong, Genji is cheap, and so on and so on.
I swear all you people want to play is Rein/Zarya standing in a doorway while 4 hit scan and snipers trade shots at each other.
Just play CSGO, Apex or any of the 900 other generic team death match shooters at this point. Dear lord.
Doom’s ult has been a joke for years, it having the potential to secure a few more eliminations here and there or at the very least deal some extra damage is hardly the end of the world.

Okay, so I am going to be objective as possible because my least favorite heroes in OW by a mile are Genji, Lucio, Sombra, and Doomfist.
My irrational response would be all of them, but I will keep this rational because you seem like a nice person.
His punch needs a second longer cooldown since it has a reset. Currently, he is too capable of “getting out of jail free,” and it’s difficult to punish him when he makes mistakes.
