Yeah I agree this sets a dangerous precedent. Soon every sick or disabled Overwatch player (myself included) will want a birthday message from Jeff and will feel extremely butt-hurt if they don’t get one but this girl does. Eventually Jeff will be overwhelmed with horror stories of dying fans and their families and people that don’t get the “happy birthday” from Jeff will ultimately feel worse off and likely to become bitter and put down Overwatch for good. It’s a nice thought and I admire it but at the same time it’s a slippery slope. Who exactly is “deserving” enough of Jeff’s acknowledgement for their birthday and what will that mean going forward.
