A big request to the Devs

I have a request please put the all stars for a period of time in the game and if you didnt thought about that idea yet please please do it.

Aren’t these limited time skins?

There have been hundreds, no thousands of people asking for re-releases.
Their statement is that they will not return.
Once missed, forever missed.

I too would like them to bring back the all-star skins but unfortunately they were branded as “limited-time”. This marketing term is often used to show that an item will only be out once however it also can be used for items that come back occasionally for a small period of time.

As far as I’m aware, the Dev’s haven’t made an official statement on whether these skins are definitely gone forever, but considering that the 2018 skins didn’t come back in 2019, I think it is unlikely we will see them.

Wrong, for both the HotS skins they already confirmed they will be added to base game loot later. Also the Demon Hunter Sombra skin was known to come back the day it was revealed.

This is technically not correct. There has been no confirmation that Overwatch League All-Star skins will never return. There currently is no current plans at this time. The only skins known to never return are BlizzCon skins and the Widowmaker Noire skin.

Devs can always change their mind on things, they took the limited “play heroes of the storm” skins challenge (oni genji and cruiser dva) and added them later on so every one could get them

Those weren’t paid skins though, they weren’t a product you had to buy that was “limited edition” they were weekly challenge skins. It’s more comparable to them bringing back Doctor Mercy challenge skin or the Symmetra paint-splatter weekly challenge skin from this most recent event.

Actually they said on the Blizzcon ticket from the get go that the Demon Hunter Sombra skin would be “available for purchase in game at a later date”. It was never marketed as exclusive.

As someone who has all the All Stars skins and Pink Mercy, I honestly think it’d be good for everyone for them to return. Blizz makes more money, players are happy, charity gets more $. Maybe they can do it sometime after OW2 release for all the new players

they did this because not everyone had a pc to get access to the skins a lot of console players wanted them but couldn’t get them
