90%+ cpu usage on "home screen" after game update

Old pc here playing just fine until last update

core i5 10gen with a gtx1060 and 16gb ram.
I don’t even dare to play in any mode if this happens in game’s home screen.

I have the exact same issue. This plus unusually low GPU usage. This always happens to me after every new patch and I don’t know why.

Me also, I’ve never had this issue before so I’m glad other people have it right now, thought my PC was dying.

Hi, I guess a found a soultion at least for me. I’ve uninstalled gpu latest driver and went to nvidia page and download some legacy drivers from 2024 after that just installed the oldest and run the game with gpu default settings and went througn this steps:

If the issue persist I turned on maximum performance on gpu settings.
If the issue persist I turn on and off Hardware accelerated gpu scheduling in windows settings.
If issue persist then I start the process again with the next driver and so on.

On the fifth gpu driver reinstall finally cpu lasted abit longer to throttle, it let me enter to the practice range and stay there for while. Then I started playing with the ingame settings and at the end turning off NVIDIA REFLEX fixed the issue.

I tried turning on and off the gpu and windows setiings already mentioned before and none of them affected the result. It was ingame NVIDIA REFLEX that was causing the issue on me.

So try and turn that thing off before messing with drivers.

Doesn’t work.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sorry to hear that. You can try the long path testing with old drivers one by one if you like or… wait until its patched. I guess we are on our own on these technical issues cause if it were a massive bug on many many users blizzard will probably address it faster.
