800 DPI - 4.0 or 3200 DPI - 1.0

It’s basically the same eDPI sensitivty but 3200 DPI - 1.0 ingame feels more controllable to play with in Overwatch somehow.

Did someone try the same with your own sensitivity? What are your experiences and thoughts?

You can use this tool for calculations and tests.

Just use mine:

4k dpi, 12 in game.

Ride the Bull.

I prefer higher DPI lower sensitivity for Overwatch. Idk what it is, maybe mouse acceleration or something else affects my opinion.

my sens literally changes in-game on either machine. it’s not the hardware, it’s the client.
you set it to x and it changes to y in the ui.

another unwelcomed bug that breaks the shooter part of this shooter.

Continuing the discussion from 800 DPI - 4.0 or 3200 DPI - 1.0:

yeah I have the same feeling…my mousepad became few days ago more slippery…even after cleaing…maybe because its not waterproof and sometimes my hands become a bit sweaty

However after switch from 800 DPI - 4.0 to 3200 - 1.0 ingame it feels more controllable on the mousepad. Maybe because you are able to exclude the extranal factor of a slippery mousepad?

I used for tests a round number because of the sens bug or what do you mean?
Do you have the feeling the sens is changed in the overwatch client with a different number?

It has been proven that higher DPI has lower polling latency than low DPI… anything above 1600 should be fine

Using a logitech g pro (wired)
DPI is at 850 right now
My sensitivity ranges with some characters.
IE:
Genji - 5
Soldier - 4
Moira - 7 or 8
Widow - 5
Ana - 5
Reaper - 5
Ashe - 4 iirc.

Be a masochist and use default settings.
