Guys you misunderstand the situation.
You pay 15 bucks for 1000 coins and a 20 dollar skin.
You just get pve missions on top of that.
Really generous.

Notice how 3 missions is somehow less than ONE legendary,the skins totally aren’t overpriced as hell.

You get a mid skin, a mid BP and actual content? Color me amazed!.. not. I’d rather just pay 5$ for the PvE alone rather than a cosmetic bundle that I will never get to use.

It would be generous only in situation, when it would be possible to buy PvE missions separately, without trash coins and skin.

A tiny hope still exists, they can bring something good 
Warframe: all skins are free because the premium currency is tradeable, the only ones locked behind pay walls are fan made skins approved by the devs with 80% of the profits going to the original creator and the prices being at most 9$.
Deep Rock: Entire bundle of thematic skins for all classes, 8$.
Fortnite: BP that pays itself off and gives extra, ability to get the BP fully free after 2-3 seasons because it also gives currency on the free path, otherwise ~10$ for bundles with multiple items and most skins having changeable variants.
TF2: all cosmetics tradeable, the only amount you have to spend is at least 0.99$ to unlock trading.

They sell prime access for 120 bucks every 3 months, every single cosmetic needs plat in worth of 3-20 bucks, farming plat from other players, comes not from DE and just from other players that payed. Also skins are not tradable, but can be send to friends with the shop. Skin bundles are around 28 bucks btw.
And around 50 hours of nice content and I was done with everything there was to see. I dont play further just to have another star at the top of my character… sorry but no.
That FN has the best BP is nothing new. For skins, they charge the same amount of money and have much more that you can buy. There are also special skin variants locked behind high BP tiers that OW players would NEVER get if they have even trouble with OW BP lol
TF2 is from a company that does not care about the game anymore. The players can do what ever they want with it. They have stream and Dota2 as money makers. TF2? They dont care.
So the game is dictated by a player fueled economy… I fail to see the issue at hand? You don’t have to spend a single dime to get any skin you want except for the player-made ones. You can just trade the premium currency from others by selling them items you get for, y’know, playing the game and then use said currency to get whichever skin you want. Not to mention the game has customization for every single skin that puts OW’s mythics to shame.
More than the 1-1,5 hrs you’ll get out of S6’s PvE and the price is almost exactly the same…
So is OW2. You can’t tell me that Blizz cares about a game when the game’s literal point of existence gets canceled, spat on, wasted and they STILL demand money to access the rotting corpse of what we were supposed to get.

Yes and no. As a Warframe player with around 1900 hours I can tell you, that SKINS are the least of your worries. You will HAVE TO farm plat to get Warframe slots, weapon and Warframe reactors and other stuff that you even normally can play the game. I helped a friend a few weeks ago to get into the game and without me giving him some plat stuff that I farmed, his time would be miserable. Warframe has without a doubt an entry fee of around 20-50 bucks, so that you have at least the basics covered.
If you only care about PvE, then play another game. They give you coins and other stuff with the PvE together. The missions are not stand alone things and rather like some fun arcade modes, that you can play from time to time. Nothing for the long time.
Because PvP made so much money, that the effort on PvE was not worth the time anymore (it was still YEARS away from being done!). They just made a mistake canceling it not much earlier (cancelation was winter 2022 so around S2). The two driving games of Blizz are D4 and OW2. Like it or not.
the skins are priced like that to make the battle pass look affordable in comparison. the pve is being bundled with a high value set of stuff to sell battlepasses. everything is to sell battlepasses.
