$80 usd Rein mythic weapon

Blizzard is still greedy af, they found a way to bs their way into the mythic shop and now there is no boogeyman Bobby Kotick to blame it on

Btw for the same price of Rein hammer you can buy 2 copies of Baldurs Gate for you and a Friend and have waay more fun than this decaying and rotten game :moyai:

Or you just go “hm, I don’t really like the mythic this season” and use the prisms you get from the pass on the weapon instead whenever that situation happens

That’s what they intend most people to do, anyway. Like competitive weapon skins changing yearly, and old ones being added to the legacy pool, I honestly feel like this is the kind of change that’ll make more sense over time when they add more mythic weapons. I know I haven’t loved every mythic, but if I could’ve picked between, say, mythic Orisa and the Rein hammer that season it’d easily be the Rein hammer. I think it looks cooler and like him more. But I don’t think I deserve both the skin and the new mythic item for the same $10 price tag if that’s what you’re saying

80$ for something so incredibly dumb… they’re milking a dead cow at this point

I find the stupidity behind people refusing to accept that mythics are a premium battlepass reward super funny

you get one per season for free. bonk. that’s it. one per season for free.

they don’t cost $80. they are a free battlepass reward.

80 bucks for additional visual clutter? No thanks, never liked weapon skins since competitive golden weapons.

Where do you see the mythic skin? I don’t see it on the shop.

What if people like both on any given season?

Thats so far from what i actually said, i never said rein hammer should be included in the BP but to sell it as a standalone for $80 is greedy af, at most that weapon skin should be $10-15

My apologies that’s just a take I’ve seen a frightening amount of times. Definitely want them to re-evaluate either prism prices or the amount of prisms for a weapon vs a whole skin that includes a weapon

Guys, aeropostale is greed AF, they are charging $500 for some poorly made shirts.

I could get like 73 mcchickens with that money.

It amazes me people waste their money on this when they could use that same amount of money to buy a quality single player game that you could dump tens of hours into.

Also over 80 copies of Garfield cart, consider spending your money on the right choice

Mythic Prisms are part of the paid battlepass. So not a free reward, but only $10 instead of the $80

Not necessarily. Virtual goods are unique in the sense that once the original is made there is zero cost to release as many copies thereafter ad-infinium.

Virtual goods are a gold mine. They don’t have to sell well at all. They just have to sell enough to pay the artist’s and developer’s wage that went into making that item one time. This is very insignificant.

no need to be uselessly pedantic

i know the bp costs $10 initially, but you can get every subsequent one for free if you want.

so if we want to get even more pedantic we could divide the cost of the battlepass by 80, then multiply by the total number of prism nodes on the bp…

but why?

Prisms are free with the BP. If you want to get all ‘but axktually’ about that, go ahead.

Not being pedantic, your just throwing out wrong information. You can only earn 600 coins in a battlepass, not enough to buy the next seasons at 1000 coins. So you would get one free Battlepass every 3 seasons if you don’t buy anything else from the shop with those coins.

you should look up the word pedantic because I don’t think you know what it means

There’s a difference between correcting small errors vs misleading information. Saying it’s all free isn’t a small error, its almost a lie because you only get one free season after playing two and not using the coins you earned from them.

Hey, you take that back.

Except both aeropostale and mcchickens are physical objects that require resources to make. Skins do not. The require a base investment cost and then the only thing you are “buying” is the rights to use it.
