Currently sitting on an 8 hour ban because your servers are a dumpster fire. Literally don’t understand what happened between OW1 and OW2. Also this all could be avoided if you didn’t take the rejoin button out of the game you morons.

Yeaaaahh…. If they’re going to still be having these server/game issues/instabilities, they need to temporarily eliminate or reduce the penalty for “leaving” until things are better.
I don’t understand why they got rid of the rejoin button from OW1 that’s what’s got me so pissed

I have had people disconnect and rejoin midgame so I know you can join back if it doesnt happen at the start which cancels the game. I think they got rid of the button and just made it automatic instead.
Happened to me today too. I understand that disconnects happen but i always join back and finish the game. a few days ago after the disconnect i finished a game to a draw and still got 40 minutes ban. I stopped playing after and queued up. I didn’t even enter the game and the screen boot me to menu saying failed to connect to server. I mean come on, the game hadn’t even started and i got an 8 hour ban. I have a video file of this thing happening and i have opened a ticket but i don’t think they are gonna care. I don’t even know what’s the point of playing this game anymore as i only like playing comp. They can clearly see that the i never got into the game to begin with yet they still refuse to turn over the bans. Support is there to help people but they don’t give a rat’s *** about this community. What’s the point of having support that can’t turn over unfair bans when you provide evidence. Blizzard, there are better ways to handle the ban situation. Ban for a week fine, Ban for a month also fine, Derank me from plat to silver fine even though it was not my fault but perma banning is just BS. I have spent almost 2000 hours in this game, spent hard earned money on cosmetics, what’s the point of all that. I am writing this only because i love this game, so please try to reach out and help people with genuine problems. Don’t just say that you can’t do anything about the bans to people if they provide legit evidence. P.S. i ahve a 400up and d400 down Mbps connection so i know its not my internet that’s the issue
I had a crash, came back and rejoin was ready for me, ban lifted.
to get an 8 hr ban is insane why did you let it get that far?
The rejoin button is still there, however I don’t know if it’s a bug or something but there have been a few times where I’ve DC’d and just straight up been booted from the game and can’t rejoin when I log back in. It’s completely random.
