6v6 patch notes are so weird man

  • Hitboxes are not reverted
  • HP changes are not reverted
  • Anti heal passive still exists
  • Tracer is buffed for some reason
  • Range nerfs on hitscans are not reverted
  • We still have to play on game modes designed for 5v5

Like don’t get me wrong it’s still MILES better than 5v5 but why? All that was done was reverting some tank changes and nerfing their HP. Why not make it like classic and revert the changes SOLELY made for 5v5 and remove the game modes that were designed for 5v5 where people hate it even at 5v5 instead of somehow slamming it down our throats?

On OW1? Sure she was but i don’t think anybody thinks that on OW2. Back then she had to get up close in order to do damage which meant high risk high reward which also meant her blinks needed skill + she needed to aim well.

Now on OW2 thanks to hitboxes and the range buffs she’s gotten she can just play like she’s Sombra while being able to zip around like crazy. I used to suck as tracer in OW1 because low ammo + blinking all over the place + having to aim really up close was a thing i couldn’t do (or couldn’t be asked to learn) but now in OW2 even i can do good with her.

So yeah… Definitely sarcasm lol

Because dive is weaker in this patch.
Tracer was inherently giga-buffed by the removal of a tank because it guaranteed there wasn’t a Hog sitting around a corner waiting just for her to have a go at the supports.
She’s inherently giga-nerfed by the patch and needs something.

What range buffs did she get in ow2?

Looking at the patch note history some changes are actually reverted back after the hitbox changes. But her damage is still 5.5 (.5 extra) and she still is hitting psuedo tanks with the hitbox changes. Now they for some reason buffed her range with 6v6 too?

Let me simplify;
Tracer is independent
She can play away from team
Tracer losing her second tank means nothing
The enemy team losing second tank means there isn’t a fat pig or a cute Korean woman in a mech breathing down her neck
5v5 is easier for Tracer than 6v6 is

Dude. She got BUFFED in 5v5. and then BUFFED when switching BACK TO 6V6. She is now like… giga buffed?

Yes.
She got buffed by the mere existence of 5v5.
She gets nerfed by the mere existence of 6v6.
Therefore
Compensation buff

Good. That was one of the worst parts about 6v6.

Nah. She was balanced with 6v6 on OW1.

6v6 that included :

  • A flashbang
  • Sombras 6 second hack
  • Roadhog
  • Any other CC ability i can’t be asked to think about

She was fine and was even being played in pro league. She just needed skill. Well now she doesn’t looking at the fact that even i can do good with her.

Did i mention we still barely have any CC in new 6v6?

Yes, and then she was buffed due to 5v5 and made more obnoxious by S9.
S9’s changes are irrelevant in 6v6 if the DPS have more room to deal with her due to more mitigation or if a Queen or Hazard can burst her down in seconds.

That’s enough to say you’re wrong.

Except I ain’t.
I’ve seen once Tracer so far, she got rolled.
There is far less room for her to flank, what S9 did to her is irrelevant. A Hog will still delete her, same as the McCree who has more room to fight her.

They need to stop buffing Ana. Tanks literally have CC passive removed. I don’t care if there are 2 tanks. It sucks

OW2 6v6 tanks are stronger than OW1 6v6 tanks.
They literally pose a greater threat to her than they did in OW1, especially with Hazard and Queen.
