I’m working on a rough rework of 6v6 in workshop - it’s still a rough sketch and not finely tuned but here’s the code: B4Y0E
**Update on this:
Tanks have Hp between 350 and 500ish
DPS and Support have had their damage reduced to 85%
Brigitte gives 25 armor instead of healing, has shield bash stun
Sombra: Can hack friendlies for 75 shield, increased attack and move speed for 3 seconds
Virus does extra damage to barriers and disables hud on victim for 3 seconds
Mei’s primary fire gives 50 shield for 2 seconds, also freezes enemies. Damage reduced to 65%
Symmetra does 1.2x damage to barriers with her beam.
Baptiste’s secondary fire does 50% healing, regen is disabled still.
I haven’t worked out moving heroes to different roles yet**
The basic philosophy is you should have roughly a 50/50 change in a duel against another player regardless of role (This is obviously not true of every single match up)
Currently Tank hp has been reduced to around 300ish (most at 80% hp)
I also want to bring back utility supports that aren’t healers.
Healing has been reduced on most healers, particularly aoe heals.
Baptiste’s healing abilities have been disabled. He still has lamp.
Brigitte only does 10% healing
Moira’s biotic orb does 50% of healing
Other healers healing reduced to about 80% of their standard. Kiriko’s heal is at 50%
There’s no role lock or role limits.
So far I’ve only tested it with bots and I think it works pretty well, barriers are very impactful but tanks are very killable, ults can make huge plays.
Changes I’d like to make if I can ever work out how:
GLOBAL: Disable role passives
Maybe disable out of combat regen? Not sure, would test it.
If someone has been CC’d, give them CC immunity for a second
Role Changes:
Symmetra back in support - replace turrets with her moving barrier, perhaps give her shield gen back as an ult with some changes- The generator lasts up to 1 minute, has 200hp and 600 shield, giving bonus shields to all allies in large radius. it also creates a 1m diameter dome barrier around itself with ~800-1000hp. Once the barrier is destroyed it does not regenerate. Barrier and generator can both be disabled by hacking the generator, or EMP. The generator can start producing shield again, but the barrier stays down.
Give Brig her stun back, make armor packs give armor and not heal. Remove healing from her attack. Keep rally as overhealth.
Sombra in support: Give her the mirrorwatch hack, but also make hack still disable enemy constructs. Virus increases damage taken by barriers
Lifeweaver: Lifegrip gives a 0.5 second invuln bubble, no longer pulls. If LW uses petal platform while grip is active, places platform under them. Change LW’s heal to insta cast at full charge but with cooldown, charging it up reduces cooldown, allowing for a single double burst heal.
Mei in Support: Give her freeze back
Torbjorn in Support: Gets back armor packs, can upgrade turret into different forms- The standard L2 turret, an anti air turret that has large explosive aoe damage but has a minimum range and a minimum angle so that it can only target things at higher elevations.
Baptiste: Replace secondary fire with a 0.5 second aoe damage reduction that can absorb up to 15 damage of one shot. Replace Baptiste’s regen heal which gives allies a single charge of his spring jump, allowing them to crouch and charge up one jump like he does.
Kiriko: Healing ofuda becomes a slow, single target regen like Zenyatta’s. The more of the ofuda hit, the longer it lasts.
Move Doomfist back to DPS.
Maybe Give Orisa her barrier back? Something I would test.
If adding extra armor turns out to be broken, replace both Torb and Brig’s armor boosts with overhealth.
All numbers rough and would need to be tested for balance.
If you want to experiment with the idea and make changes, by all means, I’ve not delved into workshop much so my skills with it are fairly crude.
