6V6 DPS Were Irrelevant

their job was not to kill tanks, tanks died because they misused their cooldowns making them vulnerable to the enemy 2 tanks.

who of course could not kill said tank if he had his cooldowns.

damage has nothing to do with killing tanks.

huh nah they werent well only if you were bad at the game i guess.

Yeah, but what made that happen… Barriers, only 2 with effective barriers is sig and rein…

I would also argue dps job now isn’t to kill tanks, you avoid tank killing ez targets and kill tanks when supports are occupied or dead, even dps is a more rewarding kill then a tank cause it is faster.

DPS must be the most irrelevant role in OW1, it was so irrelevant that it had the longest queue time in the game

Prior to double shield (which was only bad because the devs updated the game once every 6 months with 0 nerfs to it), DPS were capable of dueling and even winning fights against tanks.

It was by no means easy, but it was possible. It is flat out impossible in 5v5.

This is an ability based game. People in all roles die if they misuse cooldowns.

DPS were not useless or irrelevant in 6v6. That’s wrong.

What does that have to do with dps players crying everytime a tank meta pops up?

DPS will definitely FEEL irrelevant if we bring it back now
Focus fire was a thing which modern players seem to forget

They were so irrelevsnt thst they had 20 minute qs apparantly

DPS will always be irrelevant coz OW gave tanks dps level dmg. Which should not be the case!
