The queue is 800+ people long and it’s not even peak hours. If I have to wait an hour to boot up a game, I do not have access to that game, that is not a game I can play. Not only did I buy OW1, but I bought the special pack for OW2, and I can’t even play the game I used to own.
We know. this thread is posted every 2 minutes
I’m glad you have plenty of time to sit and watch new topics scroll by, but that is not the situation I am in.
At the front of my hour long que now for the third time wish me luck
go through asia unless that server is already packed…blizzard needs to buy a crud ton of more servers…idiot bobby kotick probably thought the systems could handle the load thats on the servers but it cant
Who would of thought that by going free to play you actually have to scale your infrastructure to support the change.
Blizzard thinking ahead? LUL
Console players don’t have that luxury. I prefer console to my PC and the queue on console is stupid long. Zero problems logging in with Asia servers on my PC.
I’m used to this by now. Had the same queue issues when Final Fantasy 14 had their recent expansion release. It does suck though for people without the free time to wait in a queue for an hour or more.
i was gonna check on my switch to see if everything merged like it was suppose to but due to wait i didnt
People being upset about 60 minutes, meanwhile during lost ark’s international launch people were waiting for 6+ hours
Overwatch is not Lost Ark. Smilegate is not Blizzard. I am not a Lost Ark player with 6+ hours to kill until I can play a game.
The game is popular… are you really mad about that?
Yes, lets gatekeep queues
The problem isn’t that the game is popular. The problem is that there isn’t enough server infrastructure to handle the popularity.
They don’t know if the popularity is going to persist, investing in new servers wouldn’t make sense if people stop playing soon. If they consistently are this high for a while then it makes sense.
Rental servers exist.
They do, and surely they cost a lot of money.
Sounds like you have all the time in the world
“You’re wrong for being disappointed that you can’t play a game that you’ve paid for twice.”
What a hill to die on.
