Blizzard please at least assign one person to fix the match making. You can take a guy from the skin department & tell him to paste this code in the matchmaking line & delete the current one .
bool 6Stack = true;
while (6stack !=6) {
cout << i << "wait till we find another 6 stack for you & your friends ";
i++;
}
Else { play solo for reduced time };
As a pizza cook, I highly disagree with this statement, a large pizza is 8 toppings from rolling it out to filling it to cooking it, should only take 10 minutes total.
You suggest that looking through hundreds of thousands of lines of code it faster and easier.
As for 6 stacks vs 6 solo queue it very rarely happens, and generally only happens in QP/arcade/OQ as most stacks in RQ are 2-3 people, not the full 6. Also if queing in a full 6 stacks, general que time is reduced to about 4 minutes.
It seems you donât play this game more often . Just today I got 5 matches the straight 6 stacks & 5 more the 5 stacks in Open q . In role Lock you cant see it because its hidden .
That they stopped showing whoâs grouped together in Role Queue was a sign that something wasnât right. Thereâs literally no reason to hide that info. That they removed it has always looked shady, regardless of their actual intentions.
BTW, did anyone at Blizz ever say what their excuse was for removing the group indicators from role queue? Iâm curious how, or if, they spun it.
They didnât remove it for any shady reasons. All you have to do is think about the logistics of it.
How did they show it in the old system and continue to show groups in open queue and no limits? They put the names of the players in a group together and put a bracket around them.
Now how do they display teams in role queue? They put each of the roles together going from top to bottom as tanks then damage them support.
Now in that system of displaying names for role queue, how do you group names together if they arenât in a six stack or in roles that would be next to each other anyways? They had to choose between ordering people by role and bracketing groups together. Nothing shady, they just chose to put the organization of names by role as the priority.
Could they instead put symbols next to the names of people grouped together, like a Star next to all three people in a trio then a new shape for every other group? Sure but a lot of players may not pick up on that either making it a pointless addition that just clutters the screen. It wasnât them âputting a spin on itâ, it was the old way of displaying groups no longer working with the way they wanted to display names on each team for role queue.
The only thing they could reasonably do to make it so the old way of showing groups could work in role queue would be to abandon organizing the names by roles entirely and just put the icon for the role theyâre playing next to the name.
Youâll notice a lot of other multiplayer games donât really indicate in any obvious way which people are grouped with who.
Facing a group is not impossible if you donât instantly give up or never try to coordinate with your teammates. Will you win every time? No, but that wouldnât be the case either way since you should only be winning a vast majority of your games if youâre drastically below where you are anyways.
Well anyone who knows basic windows OS but you might be right though , skin people might only know photoshop & 3dsmax . Maybe a receptionist can do a better job in just coping & pasting my Code.
You donât have to read all the source codes , you know where exactly the match making code is if you are a basic programmer . Maybe stick to pizza making & donât forget the pineapples.
You think it wasnât on purpose ? here is a list of other things disabled by blizzard to trick the player to be doing good .
An assist is consider a kill .
No one should see any teammates scores to see who is not doing anything & let players assume who is a bad players based on the hero they picked .
I lulâd at this. So true. So much of their trash is fixed with a day1 newhire babyâs first âhello smurfsâ and itâs gg. I donât understand how they can ship a AAA title with polished engine, good netcode, all kinds of collision/projectile interp etcâŚbut then totally bork the ladder.
I didnât say it wasnât on purpose. If you actually read the rest of the post I clearly stated why showing groups like they used to and still do in open queue does not work in role queue.
Saying that only makes it look like you didnât even bother to read it at all and if you didnât whatâs the point in me even trying to discuss with you?
Tell me once that medals have done anything other than increase abusive behavior from players. Medals function exactly like seeing your teammates scores would in that function. Iâm all for a post game scoreboard but donât deflect to a different topic, I clearly stated why showing groups in the old way doesnât work in role queue where they order people by the role theyâre playing. I also put out a couple alternatives they could try to show groups still in role queue.
Itâs not the end of the world to play against a group if you donât instantly give up or never try to coordinate with your teammates. Will you win every time? No, but that wouldnât be the case either way since you should only be winning a vast majority of your games if youâre drastically below where you are anyways.
Besides
Would make stacks have to wait a ridiculous amount of time just to get a game at all if you made them wait to get a matching stack. The game needs to encourage people to group and coordinate together, not discourage it.
If you wanted to say âkeep it from being a full 6 stack against 6 solosâ? Sure I could get behind that. Maybe at worst let it be 6 stack and 2 duos and a couple solos. But punishing people for playing with friends/people they choose to play with by making them wait a ridiculously long period for exactly another six stack in their range to queue? Its just a bad idea.
We get it you donât like groups. Other people donât like people who only solo queue. You canât punish them for playing with people they want to.
They didnât spin it. People would rightfully be pissed off to know they were often being paired against groups (in a highly team oriented game), and so Blizzard figured âhey if people donât know, they canât get upset about it â so conceal it from them.â Itâs pretty Machiavellian. But these are the same group of people Blizzard-loyalists will swear is 100% on the up and up when it comes to matchmaking.
It happens more in open queue because no one plays that game mode. People six stack in open queue either to play goats, or get ez wins against teams with bad comps.
P.S. Your code sucks, I doubt you passed your beginning programming class lol
