Everyone except Moira (thank God) got a CC ability. And who’s considered the most balanced hero ever added? Moira. We’re fine Blizzard. We don’t need ANY more CC. Just please stop
And how many heroes had mobility when the game started? How many of those mobile heroes have been constantly meta? Yeah.
I’m not saying ‘’ more cc more cc ‘’ but cc was implemented by bulk because there were plenty of mobile heroes that needed better counters than just McCree.

The vast majority of the community believed that Moira was OP at release, and indeed she received several nerfs. Jeff Kaplan himself admitted that Moira was too strong, in fact he said that she was “OP AF”.
CC should have stopped at Doomfist.
Like the slow effect on her turrets doesn’t already count as a semi stun for D.Va and Rein.
She needs a massive AoE stun for everybody.

She got one bug fix that helped her (fade no longer shows your direction) and one bug fix that hurt her (barrier change), and then one solid buff (charge rate increase).
What several nerfs am I missing here? And Jeff called her OPAF as a joke. Her power level has always been approximately the same because she’s always been approximately balanced.
I think we have enough CC for now too.
What kind of new abilities would you like to see in the future that are not CC?
Skill based mobility. So far we have, like, one example of it in Hammond. A tiny bit in Doomfist and Lucio too.
Some suggestions would be:
-Proper rocket jumping. Bonus points for working in a mechanic like tf2’s market gardener.
-Trimping (think about Moira’s ledge dash bug, then scale that up. Hitting ramps at the right angle and speed would lead to major mobility).
-Wall pouncing, like l4d’s hunter
Haha I’m not creative enough to come up with any, but Blizzard has had some cool ideas, like I love Orisa’s fortify, Sombra’s translocator, Moira’s orbs, etc.
I just want some more “regular” heroes that are fun to pick and and play without being super controversial
Ana, Orisa and Sombras CCs are perfectly reasonable and healthy. They have limitations and can be blocked by many things.
Brig and Doom are the issues.
One ability to instakill Doomfist.
Orisa’s halt was really powerful when it came out, but I agree now, it’s fine. And Ana/Sombra have pretty annoying CC, but at least their abilities are hard to land
I think Ana and Sombra’s CC just lasts too long.
Being taken out of the game for such lengths of time without dying is awful. Particularly when they stack them onto tanks.
-Sombra gets a hack off on you as Rein
-EMP’s you as it wears off
-Hacks you as it wears off
One hero making you feel useless for 18 seconds is way worse than swiftly dying to a Hog hook. At least imo. Sombra isn’t overpowered or anything, far from it, but she is an awful gameplay element.
I thought they also made it so damage orbs target barriers. They also briefly made it so she could damage buildings with the orb.
Did you miss the million “Moira is so OP, nerf now!111!” threads back in the day?
For Ana, if it doesn’t last long enough she can’t use it as an escape and it also has a long cd, wind up, and travel time so if it was too short it wouldn’t be worth it. Besides most of the time, Ana’s team is going to wake up or kill you unless she landed the dart when you were out of the way. Or if you’re 200hp or less, that Ana will want to combo you unless grenade is on cd.
yeah i think df , brigitte and hammond made the game way less interesting.
