$50 Blizzcon Pack

This year’s Blizzcon pack that includes all the OW2 stuff goes for $50!

You get the following:

  1. Epic Sigma skin
  2. 1000 credits (not to be confused with premium coins)
  3. Season 7 BP

This price is absolute ridiculous. You do get WOW and D4 stuff but if you’re only playing OW2, the value per dollar are even more ridiculous than usual. For $50 you should at the least get the “Ultimate BP bundle” and not only the BP.

I would rather drop that on overpriced wings than give it to Blizz.

Why do people even go to Blizzcon? So you can hear Bobby Kotick tell you what you like and don’t like while he laughs about it?

Blizzcon didn’t sell out this year so they have to make the money up in other ways now.

If they were thinking of selling the pack, let those at Blizzard continue dreaming, bad marketing.

I’m sure they will make more money by overpricing the virtual tickets even more. I mean they could have at least included the season 7 $40 ultimate BP bundle.

If you buy the Blizzcon bundle and also want the ultimate BP bundle. You probably still have to pay $40 in game even if you already own the BP because you bought the Blizzcon ticket. You don’t get any discount in other words.

It’s only good value if you own and play other Blizzard games

The issue is that the skin is probably exclusive to the virtual ticket.

This is what I was wondering as well. If you want to buy the ultimate pass and you can’t upgrade, with a discount, this is completely useless.

It’s a sad thing but this is the current state of gaming

That’s why Baldurs gate 3 has been so successful because companies have been getting greedier and greedier with time . So it’s a breath of fresh air when a game is released complete, without predatory microtransactions and being a good game.

The monetization state of OW2 is really sad and Blizzards monetization tactics are also showing on their other games and how much it hurts them.

This is the first time I can remember that a Blizzcon hasn’t sold out! They deserve it and I hope some miracle happens and the company improves on its issues. This season in OW2 they have improved a little bit at least when it comes to the monetization. We have gotten quite a lot of skins that could be earned and purchased for free if you have enough credits and tokens compared to previous ones which is a great start. Hopefully they keep on improving things with time.

Do you realize what you just said…lol

These packs are meant for Blizzard fanboys who play multiple Blizz games, there is a bunch of stuff in it for all the games

Then don’t buy it  and other people will buy it! The end!

Previous Blizzcon bundles cost much less. The 2019 one you got 2 skins (probably some loot boxes aswell) and the bundle cost $30. The 2021 bundle you got the Reinhardt legendary skin + loot boxes for $30. $50 is insane, especially if you want to buy the S7 ultimate BP bundle in game and have to rebuy the BP again since you probably won’t get any discount for already owning it.

If you’re planning to buy the season BP ultimate bundle, you’re basically paying $50 for 1 epic skin + 1000 credits (not to be confused with coins).

Looking at how well the Blizzcon tickets are selling (this is probably the first year that Blizzcon tickets haven’t been sold out) I don’t think there will be many left buying the virtual ticket especially when it’s this overpriced.

And this one gives you a Legendary skin, and 1000 coins which is $10 value, and the Battle Pass which is $10 value, so why would they price it at 30$ when it also has a ton of stuff for Diablo and Wow in it too that also cost money…?

What…? The Season BP ultimate Bundle has a legendary Lilith Moira and Inarius Pharah skin and OW2 coins and 20 tier skips and an epic skin

Jesus. Why not just give 1000 overwatch “gold” coins instead of BP so we can choose what to spend it on?

Makes it a better deal for those who want to buy the ultimate bundle as well.

No this one gives you 1 epic skin 1000 credits (not coins!) and the season 7 BP. You have to bear in mind that you probably won’t get any discount if you buy the Ultimate Bundle. So in other words if you only care about the OW2 stuff, you’re basically spending $50 for 1 epic skin + 1000 credits (again not coins).

It’s basically a battlepass just bloated with filler that no one cares about.

I didn’t even notice that it was credits! I can see in the near future a lot of people getting angry thinking they were getting premium coins…

Well, I was on the fence about buying the virtual ticket, but this year Blizz talked me out of it pretty quickly with what they were offering. I play WoW, Ow2 (much less than Ow1) and every now and then HotS (rip). I don’t think there’s a single thing that caught my eye.

Thanks for saving me money Blizz!
